Q: Did any of you use wood base so they could float longer and not catch on fire?

I just put them in the water to float

They are bio degradable and have no plastic on them. They can also be collected and don't need to be left in the water.

Q: Does it come with that little boat thingy

This water floating candle lantern does not come with the little boat base or any other kind of base, but it will float without this.

Q: How long do these float? Was considering floating them in the pool for a party and using flameless tealights

I used waterproof frameless tea lights, which are heavier than the average tea light, so I had a problem with the extra weight sinking the lantern. They’d likely last the night if you have a regular tea light and no one splashes them. If they take on water, then the extra water weight can slowly sink them, too.
