Bluetooth controllers connect to this device. This device then pretends to be a wired Xbox controller. Your computer (or switch) will see it as a wired Xbox controller for compatibility. Great idea.

if looking to connect a non switch controller this is all you need. works perfectly and connected my playstation controller on switch. Only defect is that design is "clunky". I would have loved to buy is so big you CANNOT plug in 2 to the same switch dock ports. If you want second one I suggest getting extension.

This is a good company. I believe this was just an error with this specific product for me.
The device came defective. I put it in the USB port, and when I took it out, the whole motherboard fell out and the button to put in impairing mode fell out. I don't like to return products because it's very difficult for me to do so, and I really wanted this to work for my dual since edge controller to play wirelessly, but it did not work at all

So happy with this accessory!
I wanted to use my existing Xbox One remotes with my daughter's Nintendo Switch as the stock controllers are too small for my hands. This adapter works awesome! I've used it with Mario Kart 8 and Rocket League so far and have had zero issues with it. Having analog triggers again with Rocket League makes gameplay so much better. Aside from lesser graphics, this was a major irritation for me that is now cleared up!Setup took a little time, as I didn't follow the directions word for word. if you do, it will work! Make sure not to miss the step where the pro controller mode is toggled. This was my initial problem.Also, I had hoped that it would work with my Xbox 360 controllers, but they must be 2.4Ghz as I could not get them to link. Not a big deal, but wanted to note that in case others are hoping for this.Overall, I am very pleased with this product and will share it with all that are in the market for this type of accessory.
