Sounds better than expected.
This thing sounds way better than I expected. I mostly ride solo, so it's usually just playing music. I can even listen to audiobooks on it! I've used it with another Sena for comms and it works great. The app lets you control which devices you connect to and has an equalizer to adjust the sound. Installation wasn't too bad, you just have to make sure not to pinch any of the wires. I had to adjust the earpieces for a comfortable fit, but it feels and sounds great now.

Solid performance
I've been using the Sena 50S for a while now, and overall, it's a solid communication system. The Mesh 2.0 works great for group rides, making it easy to stay connected with friends without constant disconnections. The sound quality from the Harman Kardon speakers is a big improvement over older models—clear and loud even at highway speeds. The jog dial is super convenient, especially with gloves, and the voice commands are a nice touch, though they don’t always work perfectly. Battery life is decent, and the fast charge is a lifesaver when I forget to charge it before a ride.

Hard to operate with gloves
I have two main issues with this headset. The first one is not the headsets fault. There was a lack of communication at Harley Davidson that made me believe this would do what I wanted it to without purchasing the wireless headset interface module. My guidance was incorrect. The second issue I have is with the buttons. I have found it difficult to operate them while in motion with the gloves. My gloves are not very thick or bulky, so I anticipated no problems. However, for me, I have not had a lot of luck. The quality of the headset is great. I have no complaints from that perspective.

Sound quality is poor, doesn't respond to voice prompts, technical support sucks
Update 5/25/23: Sena Support refuses to refund or warranty repair this unit. I am beyond words at how incredibly horrible their customer support and warranty is. Complete garbage. Worst company ever. Moving to Cardo and writing this off as a complete loss.Updated 5/16/23: Still fighting Sena technical support now for a month to get anything beyond screenshots in the manual. My unit has never worked properly, tech support has confirmed this, but asks me once a week for something like a serial number, sends me another screenshot (I’ve been thru the manual in detail), and is not helpful. At this point I’m convinced its just an attempt at making me give up. What they should do is replace the unit under warranty but they seem reluctant to do that. This is the worst product support I’ve ever seen with a company and will never buy another Sena product.Updated 4/29/23: Bought a second headset for another helmet, but this is not easy to swap like other models. Each changeover requires pulling the helmet liner apart and reconnecting all the wires on the next unit the same way. Been trying to get technical support for my ongoing issues below, which includes frequent and random disconnects from a Zumo XT. Technical support is worthless and slow. Each response takes half a week and they just copy/paste pages from the manual. Hey Sena has never worked with this unit even though its turned on in the app. This unit is a waste of time and money.Disappointed in this product all around - biggest issues are that it sounds horrible...can't hear my music, other sounds are then too loud and scratchy. The BT connection seems poor. The inability to unplug this and move to other helmets just isn't there - you have to dig out all your helmet wiring and unplug if from there. A much better design would be a plug on the unit itself that was changeable and replaceable. As is, the wiring is a single point of failure. Finally, and almost most annoyingly, the device does not respond to any "Hey Sena" voice commands. It works with Siri on my iPhone, but that's it.

So far it’s perfect
I’ve only had it for a week but so far it works perfect and I’m using it on a half helmet. I have made and received phone calls at 60 mph. I could hear perfectly and the person on the other end said it sounded clear to them. I also installed a Lenink CarPlay Jumper on my 2021 Street Glide Special. I have sent and received text, made and received phone calls and requested seri open apps all through voice commands. Everything works fine but there is a sequence I need to follow before using the Sena and you must answer calls with the button on the Sena not the Harley Boom. First plug your phone into the hdmi in the glove box, next turn your ignition on and then turn Bluetooth on on your phone and connect to Sena. With that sequence everything worked for me. The one thing that I wish I could resolve is the ability to answer the phone using the boom screen. The only time I touch any buttons is when answering a phone call. It’s not really a problem but this is the only time I need to touch my Sena.
