not as good as the puffed amaranth in india, it gets soggy in milk as opposed to staying crunchy. but it’s still delicious! taste is a little more “burnt” than what i was hoping for.

I am Mexican, therefore, this is something I am already used to eating. Keep this in mind as I saw a lot of people talk about the taste of amaranth; the truth is that you get used to eating this, specially if you have it every day.At first, this amaranth tasted quite different from the Mexican kind I am used to, it was more bitter BUT, I got used to it pretty fast. I practice intuitive eating and my body was asking me for amaranth like crazy. I cannot find this locally in big quantities, so this has been the best option. I can't go a day without having a bowl of this, it really makes my body happy. I hope this review helps someone out there trying to find cooked/puffed amaranth because it's hard to find!

This amaranth is a great deal. The product bag opened up with a fresh, toasted aroma that has lasted for weeks. The toastiness is just right; not over-cooked, great color. Excellent quality.I switched to this brand when my previous selection was dropped from Amazon’s offerings. But I’m really impressed with this alternative- couldn’t be happier.

This amaranth smells great. Toasty and fresh. Perfect for desserts. I rebagged it in two 2-gallon ziploc bags. I will buy this again!
