I have bought several times this type of car stereo.I am happy with the product.I own several vintage Jaguars and other classic vehicles, and also from the style I am happy.Obviously, for an open convertible, I don't want to invest too much, not to attract thieves.It serves the purpose, esp. if you drive open air, I am not in a concert hall.Obviously it is not a high-end device, but it serves my purpose perfectly.It is also loud enough, so you don't need a further amplifier, unless you want to scare the neighbours.Or you are striving for a hearing damage.Again, it works pretty well, and I am buying again.

It works fine. $20 well spent for my 30 year old F-150 truck.

Looking for an inexpensive unit for my project Ford Ranger and found this. Hmmmmm, quite a few features and a low price! My lesson is you get what you pay for, see below.Sent to seller: I installed this radio in my Ford Ranger, following the instructions. When I turned it on after completing installation, it works but the display is so dim you can barely see it in the daylight. I can't use the features because I can't see the display well enough to see what it says. I took apart my dash to install it. I connected the wires and used heat shrink for insulation, and put it all back together. I am extremely dissatisfied with your product. Is there a way to adjust the display brightness? Please advise.Seller's reply: Thank you for contacting us. We are very sorry that you cannot see the screen clearly during the day. This may be related to the installation location. the car radio can't be adjusted the display brightness.My message to Amazon: I am not satisfied with the response from the seller. The radio is located in the normal location in the middle of the dash, and due to the difficulty in seeing the display in the daylight, the multiple features are unusable. All I can really do with this is preset some stations and use the preset buttons to switch between them. Bluetooth, phone connection, etc. are impossible to switch to while driving. The reply was essentially, "Too bad". I did not expect this from an Amazon seller.

I don't write reviews on anything but be very careful cuz this thing will go up in smoke if ur not careful DO NOT hook subs or an Amp to it. It will not support the power. Fuses are in place for overpowering yet I had smoke rolling out of my dash.. save the money and buy something worth wile. To late to get my money back also.

I have a regular cab truck with only 2 door speakers. This unit will constantly clip if you go past 42 (it goes up to 60 something) on the volume which might seem loud but it is not very audible honestly, this also causes the unit to cut off and on, not just clipping out. Also does not put out bass at all. It’s okay for the money but will not be in my truck for long. I don’t think I’d recommend this to anyone unless you just need something to get by.
