A great tire
I bought one GP5000 tire at a discount due to damaged packaging. This was a good deal. It was really hard to mount on my aero wheel. I'm not sure if it's the tire or my wheel. The GP4000s that I have are also a real bear to mount. I have to use a tire jack for the last couple of inches. Without it, I don't think I could mount it. The tire very good. It rolls really good, is quiet and seems to dampen road vibration. I will be buying more since the 4000 is replaced by the 5000.

A tough tire with fabulous rolling resistance. I've not found anything to compare.

Great Seller!
Lots of sellers provide great quality products here on Amazon but not all of them have great customer service. Very happy with Great Lakes Outpost and their customer service. Will definitely come back and purchase more items from them in the future.As far as the tires go. Continental GP 5000 is one of the best tires currently available. I don't use any other brands on my bike.

Speed for everyday use.
Lots have been said and written about these tires, but in my experience they offer the best combination of speed and durability for my riding habits. I get about 2500 miles out of a set before they start wearing thin

Very impressed
I used these tires the day after they arrived for a 77mi ride. Given the amount of punishment they went through (debris, unavoidable objects, rocks, and glass), I thought they would go flat. But they held soft the entire ride. Now I did get a flat during my commute afterwards, but there wasn’t any damage to the tire itself. It was disappointing getting the flat but, it was not a result pointing to the quality of the tire itself. At the moment, I am very satisfied with these tires.

Do not buy this tire from Amazon
I always enjoyed Continental tires but this experience left bad taste in my mouth.I bought a set of Continental GP5000 tires in March and recently installed them on Hed Belgium Rs. After a few rides I had noticed that the sidewall and part of tread was uneven and slightly bubbly looking. I contacted Continental who told me to send it back to seller for inspection and when I contacted Amazon I was told they could not accept any returns. So now I'm stuck with a flawed tire that I cannot return. The rear tire is great but paying 100 bucks for only one properly working tire is a joke.Terrible customer support on both sides.I bet a brick and mortar store would help me take care of that.
