KiplingWomen's Sebastian Crossbody, Super Light, Durable Messenger, Shoulder Bag

I bought this purse five years ago in a muted green, and now decided to buy one in black. The old one is still in great shape. It is on the small side but there is enough room for everything! It is extremely lightweight (good for my back!) but very sturdy and stain resistant! I like that the zipper across the top is wide so you can easily unzip and see everything in your purse without digging around! It is a casual look, but if that's ok for you, I highly recommend.

I want to pare down the size of the purses I use. Kipling is the only brand I buy. The instructions say to spot clean, but I've washed mine in the machine and hung them to dry. I have one bag for around ten or twelve years, and it still looks pretty good. This Sebastian crossbody in black is lovely. It does have some drawbacks for me, however. It's supposed to have the key thing on the inside according to the description, but it doesn't. I really like to attach my keys to it. Something else it's lacking is a slot for a pen. My other Kiplings have one. While the center compartment has a zippered pocket and a zipper on top, three of the other compartments do not. Still OK. But an improvement would be to have a small piece of velcro or a magnetic closure so that nothing falls out of those areas. There is an outside compartment that has a zipper so a good place for credit cards and such. I gave it five stars because, in spite of those drawbacks, it's still beautiful and functional. Kipling forever.

I love the colit, size, and shape. It still holds quite a bit of stuff while keeping a smaller profile. Perfect for my Summer vacations this year. Definitely lightweight and so far durable for every day use.

I have several Kipling bags. This size is perfect for adding more items to your bag, like two pairs of eyeglasses in their cases. Easy to carry around on your shoulder. I only collect the bags that have the furry monkey attached. I don’t like the hard plastic monkeys so I don’t buy those bags.

Lovely dark blue. Nice long fabric strap. A little bit smaller than anticipated, but very workable. A replacement for one that I have used about 10 years.Very happy to purchase at Black Friday

Did a lot of research. I have their larger bag which I like a lot but wanted something smaller with less zippers to travel with. After using it for a while, this is perfect. Carries my phone, glasses, keys, and a few other things I may need. Slim profile. Just the right amount of pockets. Loved that it has and inside zipper, an outside zipper as well as one inside slip pocket and an outside slip pocket. All in a durable lightweight washable material. It is a perfect bag! The gray color is perfect for summer

Although the bag is small, it appears to have more room than the Kipling mini bags. Ideally, I would have preferred it to be just a tad larger but not a regular-sized bag. I think the bag is too small for traveling purposes.PROS: great Kipling quality and the red color is absolutely lovely!CONS: Both slip pockets (front & back) are completely open at the top with no fastener (magnetic or zipper) leaving contents unsecure. The interior of the bag has a half pocket/divider. Since the bag is so narrow, 1.75”, this divider gets in the way and to be honest is more a nuisance than anything!I was all set to return the bag even though I really wanted a smaller red bag & I love Kipling products. Although I could not easily fix the two side pockets to make them secure, I took my scissors and snipped out that useless half divider so I won’t be fighting with it & kept the bag!
