Keep it clean
Very lightweight easy to use just make sure you clean it out after each use because the pump does not work well after you run caustic disinfectants through it

Bad products by Ryobi. All these orders Defective.
The media could not be loaded. Bought six different Ryobi products. Two of these Electrostatic spray guns , both defective. One unit has no motor sound and the other comes on but no suction at the bottom to suck up water,No sound of any motor running with fully charged battery. RETURNS is Making me pay for each item to be returned. That is so wrong while being sold as Amazon Prime Product. There are no factory or any stickers that show a sticker saying PASSED ! And that's not all the new batteries and charger for these is also a loss of time and money. Cannot believe all this but yes I do believe these are factory defected units as I saw the video about it online Contacted Ryobi, they replied Contact the seller at Amazon we cannot honor warranty or parts or exchange . So Bad !

Not really ergonomically-designed
When it arrived, the unit appeared new, but the only instructions included were little instruction pictograms that were cable-tied to the unit. I usually receive paper instruction booklet with Ryobi tools. The box the tool came in was a plain unmarked cardboard box (from U-Line), not the typical Ryobi lime green box you see at the box stores. Not too sure of the provenance of this unit.I suggest that the first time you use it, to use water- just to get an idea of how the Priming and Spray settings work. This sprayer was not designed with ergonomics in mind.Filling the tool isn't too bad- the opening isn't large or small- you just need to be careful.I didn't have any issues getting the tool to prime or spray (although you need to be careful during "PRIME", as it does shoot out a pretty healthy stream. When I primed, I operated the tool JUST until I could hear it come out of the tool, then switched to one of the spray levels. It seems that the screw-on cap on the tank does not really seal all that well- the top of the tank was consistently wet with whatever I was spraying. There was also a consistent drip at the nose of the tool when spraying- about one drop every five seconds or so. This was just due to a tiny bit of the spray hitting the plastic at the nose, then collecting and dropping. Not much of a problem if you're dispensing water or disinfecting solution, but I expect it might be an issue with a pesticide or weed killer. This is not a small tool- static pictures really don't convey how large it is. It is bulky and heavy. With the smallest Ryobi 18v battery I have (1.5Ah) and a full tank of liquid, this setup weighs just over 7 1/2 pounds. It's like holding a gallon of milk level. If you're only spraying surfaces that are chest-height, it's not too bad, but I still had to hold the pistol grip handle with my right hand and support the front of the tool with my left hand as I was using it to spray. Did I mention that it's heavy? If you wanted to spray lower surfaces, I could hold it in the same way and point it downward, but that only worked for a few minutes, until the solution was used and the tool began sucking air, as the pickup tube is centrally-located in the tank. To keep the tool level, I held and supported the nose of the tool with my left hand, used my right hand to balance the tool, and used my thumb to depress the trigger, Quite awkward, but that kept the tool level.I dispensed over a gallon of disinfectant and purged with plenty of water and barely used up the battery- I suspect you could dispense at least a few gallons on one charge.Once done, the flat top of the tank makes it difficult to get all of the solution (or rinse water) out when you're done. I just got as much as I could out, then let it air dry for a day or so.I would give the tool 2 stars. Due to the leakage, I would not use this for any solution like pesticide or herbicide, only relatively benign solutions like disinfectants.

It came looking as if it was used?
It works ok. For the price I thought it was ok. Not super impressed. Only fogs maybe 1-2 feet? Not very strong.

Not so great, plugged. Not Ryobi’s best attempt.
Used diluted bleach in this to clean shower daily. Had the diluted bleach in the tank and after a few uses, it is plugged, pump works, but no spray.Use. $1 spray bottle instead.
