So far, it's perfect
exact right size, perfect replacement fan/heat pipe (it's one single thing).This was for a Lenovo Carbon X1 6th Gen.easy Youtube vid on how to replace it online (make sure you find one for a 6th gen X1 Carbon, they can be a little different from version to version).Remove back cover.Disconnect battery screw 1st, put a plastic wedge under that, then move forward.4 simple screws, tiny power connector for the fan unplugs (tweezers made for small electronics helps with this) heatpipe and fan lifts out, clean old thermal paste, new thermal paste, new heatpipe and fan goes in, 4 screws again, working across to evenly tighten them down (part way on screw 1, then part way on the screw diagonal across from that one, then the next, etc.) reconnect power to fan, reconnect battery, and your done.replace back cover.

Does not fit exactly the female plug
TRADOCK sent the fan SN 01YR159, which have a male plug that does not fit exactly the female plug in the motherboard. When did try to connect both, the female plug be broked; SN YR 01YR159 male plug is a bit more higher than the original SN 01YR204. At the end, motherboard with damage without solution.I sent many messages to TRADOCK without answer from them.Amazon did refund me all the cost of the fan, thanks Amazon!

Fit Perfectly
This was a perfect replacement for the fan in my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6Th Gen. It is very quiet.
