Marvel C0079 Guardians of the Galaxy Legends Series Yondu Action Figure, 6"

Yondo is great. He is such a major part of both Volume 1 and Volume 2. He comes with 2 heads. One is the standard head that we saw in the first movie. The second head has a tall fin (no spoilers). He comes with his arrow that trails the magic or whatever powers it. I would like to have seen a second arrow that he can just hold in his hand, or put in his holster.Yondo comes with a part for Titus. This is the gun arm. It is well detailed, and lets you know that Titus is going to be pretty great.

Cool yondu figure. The extra head is a nice touch and I like the arrow accessory.Not a big fan of the Titus BAF, as a long-time Marvel fan never heard of him. Guess he's Kid Nova's nemesis but since I've never read that series I don't know much about him. If you are a Titus or Kid Nova fan then you'll probably be happy, but there are many more cosmic marvel characters that I think are more worthy of a figure (for one, how about a new Ronan figure? or Firelord, Grandmaster, Living Tribunal, Eternity, In-Betweener, Quasar, Shaper of Worlds, etc.)Still, I like the figure enough to overlook the (for me) useless BAF part

They’ve really paid attention to detail! He looks just like Michael Rooker! He also arrived very quickly! I love him so much! The arrow is a perfect touch! I also love that I can change his head! I would definitely recommend this to fans Guardians Of The Galaxy! I cannot wait to order the rest of them!

Whether he's trying to protect you from intergalactic bad guys or threatening to eat you because "it's funny," the MCU's Yondu Udonta has been a standout character in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but will this figure be a standout on your shelf? Or will you be tossing it into the farthest reaches of space, never to hear from it again?!..That last bit was a little excessive, but you get the idea. Let’s get into it.PAINT AND SCULPT: 4.5/5Now I love the MCU and all its characters, but when it comes to action figure collecting, I usually stick with Marvel Legends that are based off the comics because Hasbro hasn’t really delivered a figure based off the MCU heroes or villains that actually look like the actors portraying them. UNTIL NOW.The GotG V2 wave was the first Marvel Legends wave to implement this new face-printing technology on their figures which resulted in a figure that ACTUALLY looks like Michael Rooker! The head sculpts that this figure come with have got to be the best domestically produced action figure face sculpts that I’ve ever seen. The only reason that this section isn’t getting a 5/5 is because I felt Hasbro could’ve added a few more paint details to Yondu’s clothes and maybe some paint shading on the head sculpts and skin. But at the end of the day, this figure looks just like Mary Poppins y’all, and that’s all I could ask for.ARTICULATION: 4/5As I said earlier, this is a mainstream domestic figure (as opposed to a Japanese import or a premium figure), which means that it has the standard articulation that many action figures have, which shouldn’t be a problem unless you want to pose your Yondu like an America Ninja Warrior contestant. The only big hindrance on Yondu’s articulation is his trench coat, which limits how much he can bend backwards or how high his arms move upwards from the shoulder, but with the kind of character Yondu is, chances are you don’t even need that kind of articulation. Unless you’re weird. No judgement if that’s the case.ACCESSORIES: 4/5Yondu comes packed with 3 accessories (4 if you want to count his removable jacket):1. Smiling and Whistling Head: As you might’ve picked up in the sculpt and paint section, I love these heads. There’s just something about a head sculpt that can say so much with a single expression, and here we have 2 great and unique ones! My only gripe is that I wish there was a way to put the extended fin from the whistling head onto the smiling head.2. Yondu’s Arrow: This is a cool accessory that Hasbro knew they couldn’t sell Yondu without. What makes this arrow pop is the bright, translucent red plastic that was attached to it to emulate it flying from Yondu’s holster through the air or the skull of some unsuspecting alien scum. I do wish that it would stay attached to Yondu’s holster better because once attached to Yondu, this accessory tends to droop over time so you have to angle and twist it in place just right to get it to stay afloat.OVERALL: GoTG V2 was filled with heart and humour, both of which came from Yondu throughout the course of the film, and having this figure on my shelf reminds me of the wild and emotional ride that James Gunn took myself and other audience members on this past summer. This might not be my favorite figure in my collection, but it definitely has the most personality, and on that basis alone, I highly recommend you pick this guy up.Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope it helped you decide on whether you should buy this figure or not!

You'll want this one as soon as you see it on retail shelves or better yet save some time money & gas, and make the smart choice of purchasing it here on Amazon. Looks just like the character!

Good purchase, better then being ripped off a tad with StarLord .... however it makes a nice addition to the collection ! If you unbox and display the way I do, expect his spear and light trail to sink and become hard to place ...
