The media could not be loaded. I love this old fashioned tea kettle look, it looks just like the traditional stove pot kettles. But this is easier and quicker to use. You just fill it up, set it on the dock and then push down the lever, then in a few minutes you got your hot water! The pot is very large too. It has a large handle that doesn't get warm and is easy to carry. It also has a very large easy to read, and accurate, temperature gauge on the side. I also really like this color, it is over all very nice!

This is the first electric kettle I bought since I was in college. Didn’t think I need one until visiting a friend’s home where he used to boil water for tea. This kettle is so stylish and well built. I like the heat protection handler and easy to clean. The auto shutoff is very useful. If you are looking for a functional and stylish electric kettle, this is the one. Don’t buy the cheap ugly ones that made from stainless steel.

The good is that it is a cute looking kettle. Now the bad. The handle is NOT wood. I bought this particular kettle because of the good reviews and because of the description of the handle being wood. It is plastic. It is unclear if the wood grain pattern is part of the plastic or if it is a plastic sticker on top of the other plastic, but absolutely not wood. All the other wood trim parts are plastic as well. The next immediately noticeable problem was that it is almost aluminum foil thin. When I say the metal is thin, wow! Just super thin. Finally, while the outside of the kettle got scalding hot, to the point I thought it might catch something on fire if it touched anything, the water never actually boiled before the off switch clicked in. The water was never able to boil.UPDATE. My sons reminded me that I forgot to add that the thermostat doesn’t work, and the rim inside is so sharp, I cut my hand on it badly enough to bleed, when reaching in to clean it before the initial use.Further update January, 2022 - the company contacted me and asked that I remove my negative review and in exchange they promised to give me a $30 gift card. I rely on reviews of other consumers to decide if a product is worth spending my time and money on. I would never alter my review for a few bucks, because then other people who rely on reviews to know if they are buying a good product or garbage will get stuck with garbage and have to take the time and effort to return it. Not to mention in this case it was actually a dangerous product. Also, if I spend enough time to actually write a review a product is usually really good or really bad. When buying on line one has no way to feel the product or look at it close up, or even know if the pictures match what actually arrives in the mail, so no, I WON’T be taking down the truthful, fair, and accurate negative review, and swapping it out for a positive one for $30.

It's a bit hard to fill since the handle doesn't move out of the way, but thats not a big issue and the aesthetic of this kettle is 100% worth it. Looks very nice on the kitchen counter and the built in thermometer helps you keep track of the temperature to prepare different types of teas.

I bought this as a gift for my mom and pretty much comes with the base to put it on and the kettle. It has a unique look. It looks really great. It holds a good amount of water basically to clean it all she did was boil some water and add some white vinegar and let it sit for about 5 minutes then wash it out and it was good for use

At first when I ordered this product I didn't know for sure if I liked it, because I was used to the clear ones where you can watch it, but this product is so amazing and is well insulated to where you can boil the water forget youre making tea for about half an hour and come back and still have hot water would recommend to any tea drinkers.

I used this machine for a tea party of a about 8-10 people. It holds a lot of water and heats up in about 5 - 8 minutes. If you fill the pot it takes about 8 minutes. Less water, heats up faster. Looks cool and the thermostat actually works. It will auto shut off after reaching boiling temperature. Really appreciate the safety feature as I had to walk away a few times and did not check the temp until later.

I’ve had for three years and has been great. However it started to leak around the base. I wish it would have lasted a lot longer or have an option to be replaced.
