Project to modify propane generator to natural gas. Buried from gas main to my generators new regulator. Fittings from Lowe's and local hardware store fit just fine. Everything went together as it should. No leaks anywhere after everything was tested

Great product, much easier to deal with that black pipe for gas lines.Be careful cutting to length and make sure to smooth the sharp edges so you don't compromise the rubber parts.Getting the fittings back together can be a bit of a pain but once you have everything in place and threads started it comes together nicely.

I use this to run a gas line in the barn for temporary heat

This is very easy to work with and goes together nicely. I would give it 5 stars if it was a heavier duty material. I’m used to working with higher pressure rated equipment. Everything about it is easy to work with and even cut to length as needed. I pressure tested it to 20 psi with no problem. Plenty good enough for the propane service I will use it for. (only 1/2 psi operating pressure)My only hesitation with it is that it is such a light material , but it works fine for my use with low pressure.

The end that came on this was missing a rubber seal, therefore was no good. Leaked! You cannot find fittings for this brand cast pipe. Do not buy! Missed my window to return bc we didn’t hook up until after 30 days ans knew it was leaking. So I am out 67 from this and another 100$ from another purchase of a reputable brand

I should have heeded the other review- this was missing the rubber gasket from the fitting on one side. What a pain.

Extended an existing gas line to install a new gas stove in the living room. This CSST gas line proved to be the right product for the job. Installed a "T" at an existing valve and ran this new line down another wall to gain access to natual gas at the new stove site. Easy to work with and provides a tight seal.

This item is not a 1-for-1 replacement for 3/4” CSST you would find at Home Depot or Lowe’s. It is closer to 1/2”.US Standard is to measure pipe by inside diameter (ID) this product is measuring itself by outside diameter (OD). Its actual inside diamanté is closer to 1/2”.That said it is function and priced right. It does come with special fittings so US Standard 3/4” NPT fittings. But as far as volume and the amount of gas it can support you should consider it 1/2”.Also be aware because of its non standard CSST sizing Home Depot and Lowe’s will not have fittings that will fit the product. You’ll need to buy your fittings direct from the manufacture. How ever you do that.Good for an extension run to run a single appliance. Not good for assumed 3/4” Gas Pope Flow that can support more than one appliance.
