Q: Is this safe to use on a marble sink?

I'm guess it's a yes. It contains no acids and only plant based chemicals.

Q: Wondering why ‘at least 97% biodegradable’? My regular product is 100% - apart from that looks to be great.

All Marcel’s Green Soap products are at least 97% biodegradable. Biodegradable requires the complete product to be biodegradable in CO2 and water within 28 days By biodegradable we mean that the whole product is able to degrade within 28 days under influence of CO2 and water. Marcel’s Green Soap products also contain salts. These are used for pH values, dissolving dirt and to thicken the product. Salts are never degradable in water and CO2, which explains the 97%.
