Reasonable budget pedal with decent phaser effect.
Started a collection of budget mini pedals, buying one a month (mainly donner) and this vintage phaser is the cheapest I've brought at a mere fifteen quid. Works absolutely fine and the effect sounds pretty good - very noticeably difference but not overstated, if that makes sense. The pedal introduces a bit more 'noise' than the my other pedals, but that may be an artifact of the effect type and it does sort of gives it that vintage feel as per the name. As I probably wouldnt use this effect all the time it isn't a issue for me. That said I do quite like that 'eighties' feel to my sound. Construction is solid, although the two part metal casing is simplier and a bit less impressive looking than most other mini pedals on the market, but for the price a great bit of kit especially if you just want to experiment with new sounds, or use occasionally for a particular song.

Good value
For the price, you cannot beat it! It does what it says, it's a distortion pedal. You can spend hundreds of dollars to get the same effect or you can spend 20 bucks and get this. I use it with my tube amp and a bunch of other cheap pedals because I'm not a professional musician and who are you kidding you aren't either or you wouldn't be looking at this, so you might as well just get this one instead of spending $200 on some stupid product by A great big name company that you're just going to end up selling on reverb in 2 years anyways

Does the Phase 90 thing flawlessly
Second one I have bought great for small setups . no unity or noise problems.

Requires adapter (unless you want a useless little metal box)
I've only ever used Boss and DOD. This does not use a 9v battery. You need to buy a separate adapter. Why in the world would it not include the power supply? Batteries not included, fine, normal. Doesn't run on 9v battery, dumb. Not include the power supply, what the...?! When have you ever bought an electronic device that requires to be plugged in without including the power supply? Imagine your new TV didn't include the power cable, your guitar amp, a stereo, a phone, ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE PLUGGED IN?!? Ridiculous. Did not have high expectations but did expect it to be operable without making a separate purchase beyond a 9v battery.

Better than expected
I've been playing guitar for 40 years. Boss and Yamaha were my go-to pedals back when I was actively playing gigs, so I wasn't really expecting a lot from this inexpensive pedal. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how good this sounds... it gave me just enough chorus to add that extra layer of sound without getting annoying or too wonky sounding, and their "true bypass" really is... there is zero noise going through the pedal whether it is in use or bypassed. Impressive.I'm just getting back into recording music, and although I am a rhythm player (mostly country) on acoustic and archtop guitars, I'm going to start adding other pedals from the KMISE line to my arsenal because not only are they a great value for the money, I can achieve other sounds and tones if I need them for certain tracks without breaking the bank. For how inexpensive these are compared to the bigger name brands, can you afford not to have a few of these pedals in your musical toolbox?
