Great for privacy from pesky neighbors. Bonus: cooler temps in house
This was a game changer for my family. We got this to keep our neighbor from staring into our house. (She's a nutcase) The film works great!IMPORTANT: the film works best during daytime when the light outside is brighter than the inside. At night it acts like a tinted window and you can still see in slightly because of the sheerness - but it does still reduce visibility from. The outside even at night.I will say this, if you're installing it on large doors or windows, get someone to help you. I ended up getting the film stuck together at the bottom when I first tried by myself. My other tip is to start from the top and only remove the backing as you adhere it to the glass surface. It's great to spray the area first really well. Have someone hold up the top corners while you pull down on the back film to expose the adhesive to the surface. After I figured that out, installation was A LOT easier. Also, grabbing another squeegee is a nice idea to have two people getting out the air bubbles.Honestly, this has saved my family from a crazy nutcase behind us staring into our house during the day. So, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Almost forgot, we have also noticed that it keeps our south facing windows significantly cooler. Summer in Chicago can get hot so this came in handy!I'll add photos when it's bright out tomorrow!

Easy installation after a few times but still has challenges
So first window ended up with a little bit of a “wrinkle” on it. What happened was during the process of getting the sheet onto the window it folded in on itself. The larger wrinkle came about when flattening the tint to the window. Was going too quick and at an angle to get the air bubbles out when the pocket collapsed and caused the major wrinkle, the one that is in the first photo at the top right. Got it installed ok after that by slowing down. Before the next windows were done watched some videos of how professionals install it and found that they install it by starting with a middle line from top to bottom and then work to the sides from the center. Any time that they had to peal back the tinting they would spray the tint and window so neither would be dried out for easier bubble removal.Other mistakes I encountered was when removing the backing film I wasn’t applying the spray to the tint, yes I know they say too, ended up paying for it as I got to the end the material once again folded in on itself and the adhesive suck to itself.I also tried a few different methods for the soapy solution. To be honest, don’t like the soap. I used soap for the first and second windows. For the larger door windows I used dish soap. For all of the ones I used soap for they ended up with “soap runs” on under the film. The runs can’t be seen from a distance but when you get close they are there. Best method I found was using windshield wash. I had a gallon of it from NAPA, used it for the whole process and the windows look great.

Excellent quality
Pretty easy to install. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube. Still holding up great after a year under the Southern California sun.

Awesome during the day/sucks at night
PRO: This product works well during the day and nobody can see in, which is what I was looking for so I give that a 5 out of 5. I can’t tell you if it will save on my cooling bill yet as I installed this in late fall.CON: Since this is mirror tint, if you have the lights on in the house at night you can’t see out at all but everyone can see in. To fix that, you’ll need to close your blinds or curtains during the evening hours. Not a big issue, but it does suck if you hear something and need to peek outside. Just be sure to keep your lights off. So I give that portion 2 or 3 out of 5.OVERALL: This is a very good product and would probably buy it again. 😁

I have the silver it does block out the sun
I find that this an accurate description of the product. Yes it is sticky when pull the clear off. I found it easier to work with two people in putting this on. Our trick was to spray a lot at the top of the window, getting that lined up then as one person it holding it in place the other person is pulling the clear plastic down & off.

Works pretty good
Keeps most of the sun out and you cant see inside during the day time as described. Not super hard to install once you get the hang of it but it is difficult to get it perfect. If you are super nitpicky and want perfect tint job you should probably just hire a company to do it for you.Make sure you have a good spray bottle because you need to cover the windows in soapy water for it to work properly. Besides that all you really need is a tape measure and something straight to help you cut the pieces out. A vacuum also helps to get all the hair/dust in the area up before you start.
