Economical to run
Ink lasts longer than cartridges. Clear printing, excellent on pictures. Quiet. Easy to fill with ink. Fairly easy to set up.

easy to install, easy to use, economical on ink
I use it for work and personal requirements. It is very neat, efficient and easy to use the different functions, the explanations and instructions inspired me with confidence and enables me to use all I need from it.

Brilliant printer, scanner not quite as good
Bought to replace an ageing deskjet printer which was on it's last legs, expensive at first but that will be covered by the very low cost of ink due to the massive amount of printing we do. Had it for a few weeks and the ink levels have barely dropped. Not quite so impressed with the scanner, which is pretty good but doesn't seem so great scanning photographs.

Epson Printer with refillable ink tanks
Printer was delivered 3 days early. I have previously had Canon Pixma printers which I loved. But, in newer all in one models there were only two cartridges, one black and 1 black and 1 combined colour, making expensive printing. Made worse by the need to replace the colour cartridge when some colours were not empty!!I’ve only had the Epson for a few days, so far so good. Easy to set up and output great so far.

Rather disappointed
I bought this printer to replace a Canon inkjet printer which I had for several years. I wanted to change because:* The savings on ink from Eco tank printers ( I havent had it long enough to comment on this)* The ADF - my previous printer only had flatbed scanner* The speed improvements* Improved interfaceI am dissapointed:* The ADF is poor, you cannot immediately insert of obverse side of a 2 sided page - it takes longer than on the canon with just a flat bed* it is a bit subjective but I think it is slower than the canon* The interface is poor - I have never before owned a printer where I need to check online how to print envelopes from word

A bit noisy but cool
Print quality could be sharper, but for an inkjet it's not bad.

Good Printer for routine daily use
Good fast printer. Prints double sided sheets. Decent quality prints but not the sharpest I've had. Sufficient for routine use. It seems to make some noise that I can't hear as our dog refuses to enter the room where the printer is now even when the printer is on stand by.

Slow, Unreliable and Poor Quality
I had used laser/LED printers for the previous ten years before I bought this Epson printer. On setting it up, I was surprised at how difficult it was to make the printer available; I typically had to switch it off, then back on after ten seconds, then wait a further period. The quality of photo prints was dire, with washed out colours and little detail - considerably worse than the photo prints I obtained from my last LED printer. Finally, the speed was much slower than that claimed by Epson. Note that I have been using the Epson inks that were supplied with the printer. On the basis of my experiences with this printer, I shall go back to an LED printer as soon as I can afford to.
