Your most comfortable period!!
OK so as said in the title the Pee Safe Reusable Menstrual Disc has one resounding pro - it makes having a period soooo comfortable (I have put the name of product in, as there are a few products here and I always find it annoying that all reviews for different products get bunched into one category - so you don't know what the review is about).More comfortable than a pad (wet bum life), period pants (wet bum life x 2 + they never actually absorb anything), tampons (you can always feel it and that damn soggy string) and yes mooncups (ouch suction)!Yes it's tricky figuring out how to get it in and out but once you do (took me a minute - by reading the very clear instructions), the soggy sensation you have is gone and (aside from any usual cramping and bloating pains we all get from periods) - you could easily forget you are on - you don't feel the disc at all!You do have to read the instructions tho and not be afraid of your own anatomy - and yes, I'd recommend trying it on a day you are at home, so that you can understand how to use it (before taking it into the field)!I read something about 'auto-dumping' before I bought it (which basically means when it's full it spills thorough a bit) - so one slight drawback is that you should probably use a pad to catch that (so not as eco friendly - unless you have reusable pads) but I just adjusted my perspective on that and thought - great! It kinda tells you when it needs emptying. I can just put a pad on to catch when that happens, and then for the rest of the time it's a much fresher more pleasant experience than any other product I've used! This particular brand spoke to me - not a fan of any ones with pull out strings (they are always uncomfortable no matter what people say). Tip for putting in - once it's squashed and in push down and back (you're trying to get it behind your cervix), then once all the way in - push the front bit up until it pops into place at the front of your cervix. The taking out is so much easier if you remember there's a little rim for the disc. Don't try to pinch it out - instead follow the canal up to the front (just behind your pubic bone/bladder) and hook your finger onto the out lip of the disc ring. Once you have that hooked and pull it - it literally does slide out.Someone also mentioned that it's not ideal in public toilets - I would agree - I'd recommend only taking it out when you know that the toilet also has a sink inside - some public toilets do - especially the disabled access ones. I know that would be a major drawback for some but for me, feeling as tho I am not on my period at all (or wearing a giant soggy nappy all day) is such a positive experience, that I feel it outweighs this.Haven't tried it for seggs (but I doubt I will O_o), so can't comment on that xHope that helps anyone deciding - good luck! :) xx

Comfortable and easy to use
Bought this as I wanted to reduce the amount of plastic, and the cost of disposable Menstrual discs was unaffordable. Once I sterilised it it was quick and easy to use. Very comfortable. I would recommend this Menstrual disc for experienced disc users.

Works well but be aware
I wished I’d known that this does not come with an adapter to UK plug. I thought the plug would fit a shavers socket but this is a US plug. I had to purchase a US to UK adapter to make it work. This should have been made clear in the write up and adds an additional unexpected cost to the product.

Awful
I honestly have no idea how this has so many positive reviews!!! I've been using menstrual discs for some time and these were by far the worst. Why? It's extremely difficult to get out because there is no hole or indent to hook your finger into to pull it out with ease. This actually got stuck inside me, it was a very scary and painful experience - and because it's silicone, it made it even more difficult to get out. By day three I messaged the seller but due to the nature of the product, they declined to give me a refund. I was genuinely shocked that these caused me so much excruciating discomfort to a point where my menstrual cycle actually ended early!!!These are very similar to the flex discs which Ive been using for months, they are even the same size as the Flex discs, but these are very difficult to use and a nightmare because its 100% silicone and very slippery. I couldnt hook onto the rim and the more I tried the more it pushed further back.I wouldnt recommend these at all. I only got it because the Flex discs were no longer in stock. I even tried to pinch it in order to try and get it out but it was as bad as having a sponge stuck inside you. Very traumatic and painful experience and one I vow never to repeat again!

Do not buy it
Was really disappointed, stopped working after using it once. Also it doesn’t steam up much or heat it up so doubt it kills the bacteria! Wouldn’t recommend I definitely wasted my money on this

Just eh
Doesn’t feel like soft silicone, feels more like a stiff plastic bag, weirdly proportioned which makes it one of the least comfy discs I’ve tried. Just very eh.

There is a travel plug inside the dome
There is a travel plug inside the dome, so you can use the US-plug in Dutch sockets.

This is a life saver I swear
I just don’t know how to express my happiness. This literally cured my anxiety OMG. For those of you who are scared of inserting a menstrual cup, i would recommend this to you. I have not even been able to insert the small size menstrual cup. It used to leak every time and i was never comfortable. To make it even worse, removing it, especially in the morning, when the muscles are so relaxed was a nightmare. I literally never felt comfortable with menstrual cup - and let me tell you this, Im talking about the smallest size from sirona. The I switched to menstrual disc from sirona. Tried the small and large size and in the beginning it was all good but on my heavy flow days, it leaked and i had to run to the bathroom when im in my office to see if it was manageable. If not have to go home. Thats how horribly heavy my periods are. But when I purchased this, i kept no hopes because i kind of started cursing my fate that nothing in this world would ever help me live a tension free period life. But when it arrived i was totally shocked. The size intimated me and the rim was quite sturdy and stronger than that of Sirona. I did not even give it a try before my periods and once i got my periods, i just popped it in. The insertion was not buttey because the material was such. And i did not even feel a thing afterwards. When it was time to empty it the next morning, i tried to hook and pull it out like i always do but it didn’t seem to work. There was no way to pull it out amd i kind of panicked because i would be late to the office. Then instead of hooking from underneath, i hooked from the top and man it was like a damn which just broke. This holy disc just withstood the torrent like it was nothing. I must say that this is a life saver. It gave me the confidence to step out of my house on the 3rd day of my period which otherwise would be impossible. Although I hated the way how I struggled to remove it, i was really liking it because it was sitting so snuggly on my pubic bone and leakage was 0. There was not even a single drop no any pink tinge. Buy this instead of the cup which sucks out the soul out of you. You would thank me later

Know how to use your travel universal adaptor!
At first I was like how do I use this thing? I’m in Canada. After consulting the internet and a friend living in the UK that’s how you plug it in (see photo). No wonder some of you can’t use it you’re plugging it into the travel adaptor the wrong way 🥲. I love the product, I use it for my menstrual disc and it’s great! 10/10
