The perfect Belgian Waffle Maker for those that love waffles.. quality & simplicity in one easy to use package.
I received the Waring Commercial Belgian Waffle Maker yesterday and used it last night to make gingerbread waffles for our dessert. They turned out perfectly.. just as I expected. I love this waffle maker. It was bought as a replacement for a Waring Pro model that is no longer in production.. I just flat out wore out my old Belgian stainless steel waffle maker. I was surprised to see that this model had become a Commercial product and the price was considerably more than I expected to pay but.. I use it often and do not like plastic so buying anything less than the stainless steel model wasn't a consideration. I highly recommend this waffle maker ~ it heats up very quickly, waffles are crispy on the outside, light and fluffy inside and the variable dial let's you choose the heat/color setting. The timer beep is not too loud as to be annoying but definitely can be heard and clean p is a breeze. This waffle maker is very well constructed and the newer redesigned D shaped handle makes it easier to store that the long handle in the picture. My old Waring Pro Belgian waffle maker lasted well over a decade of serious waffle making use and I expect this commercial Waring WW180 Belgian waffle maker will last even longer.

Best Choice Waffle Maker
After staying at a hotel and making my own waffles as part of the continental breakfast and loving them, I was on a quest to make my own at home just as good if not better. I did a lot of comparison research before I made my purchase. The Waring WW180 is definitely the perfect choice. It is a very high quality easy to use Belgian waffle maker. The temperature control lets you adjust for how brown you prefer your waffles and the audible timer lets you know when your waffle is ready and it only takes just over a minute. You can't fail, Perfect waffles every time. I purchased the Heartland waffle mix to use with it and they were a perfect match. I couldn't have made a better choice. It's fast, easy to use, easy to clean and makes perfect waffles every time.

I love this machine
I've used Waring products in hotels where I have stayed and loved this waffle maker. It's robust, well built, makes a perfect Belgium waffle. Decided to splurge and buy one and it will last a lifetime.

Newer updated WW180X with Serviceable plates. Working outstanding.
This review is for the product on this page, not the older model. I owned the old 'Professional' model with the angled straight handle. It did have the hinge issue and gave up after about 5 years, and I bought it used. This is a new much sturdier and improved model. I have included photos to show the handle and improved hinges on this Commercial model. This product is really well made and easy to use. Off / On and brownness knob, that's it. It doesn't take long to heat, and once up to temp, cranks them out. Evenly heated. Don't be put off by the negative reviews of the older lesser model. I had no quality control issues at all. Enjoy!

Commercial grade?
I would hate to use this in a commercial setting. But what's a person to do? I can't spend a grand for a real one. The hinges are loose and it is not all that rugged. I suppose it is better than the $50.00 "residential" units. I does work and it makes pretty nifty thick waffles. I recommend some belgium pearl sugar for those decadent crispy super sweet true belgian delights. When it quits, I will update this post.
