Sturdy compact quality. This item has actually lasted me about 5 years and still goong strong. I might never replace it by the looks of it.

I use this as a stand for the SE Electronics Reflexion Filter Pro with the clamp on the pole mounting hardware. It works well on the thinner upper tube for standing vocals and the fatter lower tube for seated vocals — although the lower tube is too big for my pop filter to clamp to. But I’ll trade that for the great stability, balance and durability this stand has. I do not fear my nice microphones falling over anymore with this.

This stand is a reasonable price and is heavy duty. I use it for a mini vocal booth like most people using this product, and it works well. So far no complaints and it looks like it will stand up for a very long time. For reference, I have about 18 lbs on the stand and it doesn’t wobble at all.

Well, I didn’t really want to buy this item but I had purchased an isolation shield that I found out could only be mounted to a floor stand, and this was the heaviest duty looking that I could find for the cheapest cost. The item is great I was just upset that I needed it when I had previously just bought a desk mic arm.

Holds a heavy mic and pop screen and does it well. Good value.

I don't know who invented this but thank you so much!. I love this. I really need a soundproof room for recording voice overs/vocals, etc but that is not possible. Darn heating and airconditioning rumbling and other room noise...and then there are the airplanes flying over and cars driving by.I love the feel of having a little mini audio booth that I can actually move to any location. I also got the stand so it is even more flexible. I can put it on top of a desk or table or use it with the stand. It has really saved me.Some people don't notice the background sounds but it drives me crazy! I need the best quality sound that I can get on a non-professional budget. (I worked over 30 years in broadcast TV & Radio as an engineer so sound matters to me!) I highly recommend.I also love how the 2 sides fold making storage easier.

These are much higher quality than I'd anticipated. I'm using them on stage for holding personal monitors (mounting Powerwerks PW50s on them using 5/8" to standard speaker mount adapters) and for a small mixer (using an OnStage laptop tray that has a 5/8" thread on the bottom). These stands are made not to slip (unlike mic stands, there's physically no way for them to slip). Very satisfied and am considering enlisting these as mic stands too (using a very short boom attachment.
