She LOVED them!!!
There's this very special girl in my life and I wanted to give her something different for her birthday. She's a professional artist, so she loves drawing. When I was on the search for a pencil set, I found this rarity: aromatic pencils, made with exotic woods. And for $29, considering the Caran D'Ache brand, I think they're well priced. She LOVED them!! Some months after she told me they still emit a strong, nice aroma. If you want to give something really special and original, go for these.

Unique and exquisite set of pencils
The pencils look great, smell great, and above all, the scent lasts long! 3 months- I use them everyday and they still smell as strong as they did on the 1st day itself. They are a bit fatter than the regular everyday pencils though, but you definitely will get used to it! Great experience!

A complex Bouquet and a Haaard HB
They smell nice, and are easy to grip, but they put down a line more like a 6H. Like writing or drawing with a galvanized nail. Zincy gray line too. Not that enjoyable for me.

The scent is powerful
Just received these yesterday and love. I will definitely USE this edition but that's because I find the designs in this pencil similar in pattern and color to Edition 7 which I own. Would have preferred this set to have really vibrant color/patterns to go with the awesome scent.

Scented pencils? N’est pas!
I was at a pen show when a vendor gave me a scented pencil. She said when you sharpen it, the scent of the fragrant wood is released. I thought that was cool so when I saw these pencils, I ordered them. They are expensive for pencils but as a pen geek, I decided they were a gun thing to splurge on.We do a lot of crossword puzzles and we do them in pencil. These small indulgences add to the enjoyment of doing puzzles.Give them a shot. If you have kids, I bet they like them too.

Ich habe mich hoffnungslos in diese Stifte verliebt. Der Duft ist einmalig, sie sehen wunderschön aus und ich mag es, mit ihnen zu schreiben. Am liebsten würde ich sie die ganze Zeit mit mir herumtragen und immer wieder ansehen und riechen. Sie sind die Krönung von allem, was Caran d'ache jemals hervorgebracht hat.Iich habe sie gleich ein zweites mal bestellt, weil es ja eine limited edition ist. Großartig!!!
