It can be handled by 10 year olds because even though it is a similar weight as a drop 10 29 inch bat, its shorter length makes its MOI less, meaning it swings way lighter than a 29 inch bat.

Yes, this 18" one-hand trainer is designed to be hit by adults off tees or tossing, so it's very durable. However, even though it is 18" it weighs about 18.5 oz while our 24" tee ball bats only weigh 13 oz, so it's likely too heavy for her to handle.

Q: What ages should use the 18” and what ages should use 22”?

All ages can use each length so it's really just preference. The 18" could work better for 10 years and younger but both sizes work for even adults.
