(written 04//11/19) I recently got an Acer laptop off of a friend who couldn't get it to work anymore. While I'm not sure what he did to its hard drive, after investing in a few parts like a Solid State Drive and reformatting the laptop it works just fine but part of my problem was that he had lost the power chord to the laptop as well. So I did a little research and found out what the model number of the laptop was (acer e5-573g-52g3) then looked for ones compatible with that model. This one was well within my price range, shipped to me quickly, worked perfectly for the model I had, the chord length was what I feel is pretty standard length for any laptop, and powers it without question.It took a little while longer than I expected to charge the laptop fully from a dead battery but I am not placing blame on the power chord considering the fact this laptop was used (to the point of needing to be reformatted from heavy gaming use) before I got it so that is a factor I am taking into consideration. So far while using the laptop it is keeping charge just fine.I will write an update after a longer period of use to update if there have been any changes.

My landlord rescues cats. One of the most recently rescued cats likes to chew cables when he can't find anything to eat. I usually keep my door shut and no food in my room to encourage them not to stay long, especially when I'm in school and have 30 page papers to write. So little Ninja (that's his name; yes, he's a black cat; I have never heard him meow, and he is the furry assassin of all things food and electronic cable-related, somehow he is skinny as heck and still alive after chewing many live cables and chargers) decided he was hungry and chewed my laptop charger cable. I did not find this out until I had to take my laptop to school for a midterm. I was going to plug my laptop into the wall...well, so much for that! Luckily there was enough battery life for me to do the midterm. Ninja is forgiven but banned from my room now, and I went ahead and bought this cable as a replacement. A week later, after I got the cable, my desktop computer hard drive failed, so I have had to use my laptop ever since. It's been about a month and a half, the cable is working perfectly, and I have not had any trouble with charging my laptop or getting it to work with this cable. Which is wonderful, as I would have failed my classes without my laptop. I use my computer every day, and so far, no problems or anything.

Edit: A few hours after writing the review, the sellers got into contact with me, offering to refund or ship a replacement. I chose a replacement and they sent it out quickly, and it works great. I probably just got super unlucky, but decided to leave my original review.Pros: It works and is cheap.Cons: It's super loose in the laptop, to the point where if I move slightly while in bed, it'll disconnect until I wiggle it around and find the correct position to get it to charge. Normally this wouldn't be that big of a deal, but since it's an Acer laptop, you get that annoying ass beep everytime you un/plug the charger. I have the laptop listed below, which is one of support laptops. Update: I did originally give this product one star because of the problems you will see below. However, I uped the stars because the customer service for this product was great and they allowed me to return my product and gave me a full refund and also sent me a new one for free! It was great customer service! The only reason I won't give it a full five stars is because the physical charger and not really the company. The charger portal that hooks into your computer doesn't really have a really tight grasp in there and if you move a little too hard the charger goes flying out. It's not really pestering as it is annoying. I guess because it's a straight charger portal, I don't know but the grip inside the charge isn't excellent. It's definitely decent.I got this today, literally four hours ago and it was working fine, then when I moved my laptop, it started disconnecting on my computer. There was one person who said they had to jiggle theirs to get to keep working and that's what I have to do with mines. If I move slightly the wrong way, it disconnects from my computer. Not physically. Physically, its fine, but it decides if it wants to charge my computer or not. It's been just randomly clicking off so I guess it's a return item and I'm going to have to search for another seller and another charger. Was really happy to get today but doesn't look like this charger is going to last long at all. Hasn't even lasted a few hours until it started messing up.

Fit my Acer laptop. Charges and works well

This is a good product for the price.

I want to start off that this product is limited to the products that this is limited to specified by the vendor so if you make a mistake because you're not aware of ratings and connector type that need to match then that's on you. This product works fine for me and I bought it because my original charger has died after several years of use. Hoping this one will last as long or until end of life of my laptop. I will say the only criticism and potential issue is that it's a straight connector so if you're not careful you'll slowly tug the wire to breakage. I will say that's the only problem but I'm a careful person not to let a lot of weight bare at that point. Overall again it works fine for my Acer aspire e15. I recommend this if it will work for your laptop

I am so mad. I ordered this for my Acer aspire laptop it says that it is compatible. Now I have to go out of my way and go to Kohl'sand return it plus reorder another one and wait for it to come. Be careful before buying from this company because it list laptops that it does not fit.
