The battery has all same the markings as the Dell original battery that I replaced. Since it was the first time that I replaced the battery on my Dell XPS 15, it took about 45-60 minutes. If I were to do it again, I estimate that it would take 10-15 minutes. I suggest you get a basic computer repair kit with the appropriate screwdrivers and "spludgers" -- the plastic wedges that you use to separate the back case from the rest of the computer. On this particlular computer, one removes 10 tiny screws from around the edges and 2 in the middle of the back case. Then you gently work your way around the edges with the spludges. Removing the battery requires removing 7 more screws. It sounds like a nightmare, but it's not. While you have it open, blow all the dust out with canned air, and dust the inside of the back case panel that you removed. I suggest you keep all the screws in small containers as you remove them. Once reassembled, the computer fired right up, took a charge, and continues to work well. I set the power settings of the computer (in the control panel) to charge the battery up to 80% capacity to extend its life. I try not to let it go under 20% charge. After reading advice online, I initially cycled the battery through 2-3 cycles of charge between 20% and 80% to condition it.

I ordered a battery from another source on Amazon , what I received did not look like a notebook batteryI had to return it and ordered this battery , I received it in 2 days and it works perfect.

My order came quickly. The battery was easy to install and works perfectly. It fit my budget more than an original Dell battery. I am looking forward to a long battery life.

Disappointing that this company tries to pass off this battery as their own. It's a Dell battery with a label taped on with scotch tape that's been blackened with a Sharpie. Could smell the Sharpie as soon as I opened the box. Battery seems ok, but only holds charge for 2.5 hrs, way less than the 6+ I got with my original Dell replacement (they don't make them anymore). Definitley not worth the $47.

I purchased this battery on June 14, 2024. It is January 12, 2025, and the battery has failed. One of the cells expanded and pushed the touchpad through the housing. The original battery lasted 4 years!1/16/25 updateAfter my review, the seller contacted me and provided me a full refund！while I had an issue with the product, the seller's service is awesome since I didn't even request a refund and they contacted me!

Fit my XPS 9560 perfectly. Installation was easy, took 20 minutes while chatting. Will update after a few weeks on battery life.

I had a DELL 17” Inspiron laying around because the original battery would no longer take a charge. The hassle of having it plugged in 24/7 made it useless. I recently decided to try it again and upgraded it to Windows 10 and searched Amazon for a battery. I came across this and am very happy. It powers this 17” laptop for a good 2 hours which for $25 I’m more than happy with. My MacBook Pro is a $200 battery that must be sent in to replace.

I was pleasantly surprised that I found this great battery for my Dell laptop at such a low price. I’d seen similar products at close to $100 but I found this one for less than $30 through Amazon. It arrived as predicted, fit the laptop perfectly, and came partially charged so that the laptop started working immediately.
