Great value for money.
Delivery was very quick, and I arrived within 2 days.It was well packaged and the build quality of the scanner is very impressive. The scanner and obd cable feel really solid and robust. In the box with the scanner is a user manual, quick start guide, trouble shhoting sheet and a USB C cable to charge it ( It also charges from the obd port) and the USB C cable is a good sign of an upto date product.Setup was easy- Connect to WiFi and run updates and you're ready to go.I've had several vehicles connected to it. 2017 Seat Ateca, 2009 Vw Scirocco, 2020 Transit custom, 2012 Transit van and a 2016 Citroen C4 gp (with known faults that 2 other scanners couldn't read) In all cases the scanner connected with out problem and the Auto Vin function worked perfectly. The WiFi range is good and still able to connect whilst parked at the bottom of my driveway. The screen is crisp, responsive and easy to read and the Operating system is smooth and very intuitive. The vehicles battery voltage displays at the top of the screen, with this and a scan. I was able to rule out the poor starting on my Transit van being the battery and instead down to faulty heater plugs. The scanner was able to pick up all the known faults on my wife's Citroen C4 gp with no problem.A nice feature of this scanner is being able to click on the fault code and search Google for code definitions and fixes straight from the device.I'm looking forward to delving deeper into the more advanced features i.e DPF Regen etc. There's too many functions to mention on a review. With the added bonus of FREE LIFETIME UPDATES and the price I am very pleased with it and would 100% recommend this to friends and family.Overall I'm very impressed and would definitely buy another Topdon product. (possibly even one of the more expensive scanners)

Great piece of kit for car fault finding
This is truly an excellent piece of kit and has quickly proven its value. I bought it to scan my Volkswagen Golf as I need to change my brakes and there is a feature that allows me to unlock the automatic brakes. I have also used it on my friend’s BMW, and it uncovered faults that he didn’t even know without the dashboard warnings, a faulty brake vacuum pressure sensor. These were minor issues that were easily resolved with basic fixes. Without this scanner, I wouldn’t have been able to detect the problem. It accurately diagnosed the issue and allowed me to clear the fault codes with no trouble at all. Everything is now working perfectly. One of the standout features of this device is it offers a range of functions that are incredibly useful for servicing work. For instance, I can unlock the automatic handbrake when changing brake discs, check the battery voltage, access live data, perform DPF cleaning, and even carry out brake bleeding. These are features you’d typically find in high-end, expensive OBD readers, but the Topdon offers them at a fraction of the cost.Another big reason I chose this model over other brands is that it provides free software updates. Many other brands charge an annual subscription fee for updates, which can add up over time. With the Topdon, I don’t have to worry about those extra costs, making it an even better investment. On top of that, the large, user-friendly screen makes navigating through menus and reading fault codes incredibly simple and straightforward.Would recommend to anyone who is a DIY enthusiast car mechanic.

Topdon OBD2 reader
I bought this to replace a topdon scanner that uses your phone via Bluetooth that needed a paid update. Had a look around and have always found the topdon stuff works really well and much better than the competition in this price bracket. With free updates for life it has already read codes on 3 of my friends vehicles so will pay for itself in no time. Cleared the service light on a discovery 4 after the garage forgot to reset it post service.Easy to use and good value for money

Quality home diagnostic tool
This is a great diagnostic tool which is compatible with many makes and models of vehicles. The easy to use touch screen allows you to be able to scroll and select from the many various options. The durable plastic allows protection to the tool in the event of it being accidentally dropped and damaged. This tool has an array of options which assist the user with diagnosing faults. Simply plugging in the tool allows the VIN search to take place, by selecting the relevant option you can read the fault code. If you already know the code you can select the relevant option and input it directly into the tool. The tool can link to the internet and with a simple click it takes you directly online to search a fix for the error code.In a nut shell this is a great tool with value for money, easy selectable options and very durable.

OBD 2 scanner
Fast delivery. The device does much more than my last one. Easily detected my vehicle and chassis number, looked at scanning and you can do multi scan or scan individual systems. Easily read and clear faults but has an option to search the net direct from each fault code. Outstanding but of kit for all occasions

Don’t waste your money
I’ve owned one of these scanners for a year and half, worked vey well. But today it wouldn’t turn on. Got to phone Korea if you want to speak to customer services. Not much if anything on line for troubleshooting. It seems to me the rechargeable battery as died. So beware when you think about buying one of these scanners it won’t last no more than a year and half. All a corroding how much you use it and charge it may be less than a year and half.
