Love these pens--comfortable to write with, clear lines
I admit I was nervous when they arrived in more of a baggie than original packaging and I was concerned whether they had full ink (or if they'd been stored too long and had low ink as has happened in purchases with other vendors).I love writing with these and they've become my "go to" pens. I teach high school and have to write a lot each day -- grades, feedback, lessons, etc. These consistently write smoothly, no problem with ink reserve. ALL of the pens in the batch function at this high rate.Best of all -- they feel good to write with. No ball point ink leaking onto the page or onto my hand from the pen.I have to keep track when I lend one to a student--because they love these too.The price is fair based on other vendors--the delivery is quick--most importantly, the quality is there. Although they arrive "out of customary packaging/in a plastic bag," the ink is fresh and the writing is smooth.

Fine pen, not earth-shattering
Agree with others that it's like a fine-tipped felt-tip. I prefer the Tradio tip or nib. (Also, I hope to find a way to refill the Tradios with my gorgeous fountain-pen inks.) The ink in these AIRs definitely feels more water-based than something like the PaperMate InkJoy, which is a "darker" black. I think these would be good if you tend to write with a heavy hand.

Misleading
There is nothing wrong with the pens, technically. But I have a huge problem with the advertised ".5mm". They definitely have a drastically thicker line than .5mm. They write very well; they don't skip or anything. And once the ink has dried it stays down without and smudging when highlighted. But I write small and thick lines don't work well for that at all.

These are fantastic. The 0
These are fantastic. The 0.5mm is a little too fine for this form factor of writing IMO. I bought some 0.7mm from Japan on eBay and I personally prefer those; albeit being a bit bolder than your average 0.7mm and 0.5mm. The smoothness of writing yet very slight resistance the pen offers is a unique writing experience that made me love this pen enough to seek and purchase upon first writing with one. My friend just kind of had one and I borrowed it to write a little note and I was just like "WHHERE DID YOU GET THIS" and was met with shrugs and a disconcerted look. You'll be surprised like I was.

Love these pens
Love these pens! Although it does not feel like any roller ball I have ever used. Feels more like using a very fine-tipped marker, which I enjoy. This is literally what I was hoping the Sharpie pens would be like...Sharpie dropped that ball and it looks like Uniball picked it up and ran with it!I'm a huge fan of the Bic Z4 Medium tip pens, but these seem to be equally as fun to write with and does not have all the liquid ink and the seeping through to the next page like with the Z4's.

Ehhh
I'm truly a stationary obsessed person; I love to buy and try different pens wherever I go, whether it be on the internet or in the store. I have to say, as affordable as these are, they are by far one of the worst pens I have tried. The pros to these are minimal; the pen is light and easy to write with. Pretty comfortable too: it does live up to the AIR in its name. But the cons? It bleeds through paper a bit, the ink is too liquid, so it tends to smear if you accidentally brush your hand along something you just wrote. If I were you, I would prefer to splurge on a pack of Sakura pigma micro pens, which are by FAR my favorite pen. Tenbow Fudenosuke is also one of my faves!

Runs dry if you write too quickly, doesn't write very dark when you take your time
This pen was a disappointment. If you write too quick with it or make lines too quick like underlining etc, it will make super dry lines that fade and look awful. When you do take your time writing with this pen to make sure the ink gets on the paper, it's not a very dark black (next to other pens it looks faint)

Uniball knocked it out of the park again
These pens are great. Strong felt like tip that can by bold or fine.Kind of a cone shape. Rare indeed. They don't bleed and give a continuous line without skipping. The lines are black not an off black. I use them to write and to do art. They are great at doodling. I think Zen-tangle enthusiasts will love them.
