I’m a woman & installed this , and car still running so it’s a win
The price is very good, shipping was decent .Now it wasn’t pre drilled as it said but I lined the original intake manifolds holes to to drilled them to match , also bought manufacturer gaskets just incase this is just something I prefer to do I also put a but of liquid gasket as the hold. Anywho the lever is removable on this one , this is important to know so if it breaks you can kid replace the lever instead of the whole system like I had to because my manifold was the original the lever in the front sadly stopped working and since all original manifolds it’s one whole system. Anyways it’s a year and a half later and still works as it should . This is just my experience and how I did it. I also kept the original manifold just in case so the drill holes etc we have all correct lining etc etc etc. Give it go it is returnable for 30 days so if not a fit ship it back win win

Worked for 2 weeks....beware
If I could rate this less than one star I would. I bought this in hope of saving some money compared to a factory intake. I couldn't be more mistaken. While yes they updated the runner linkage to metal, that doesn't help when the vacuum actuators seize up and make a super loud whistling noise, and when it's seized up the runners don't and it's basically the same as having broken linkage. I ended up buying a factory one and it works like a charm. I'm not some goon who doesn't know what I'm doing I'm a 10 year Mercedes mechanic who buys crap parts for my own car. If you have a broken intake at least buy a peiterbirg intake they make OE equipment. Just total garbage. And you get a 30 day warranty. I didn't put mine in for 30 days, my fault. But 2 weeks before it pooped the bed. My original one lasted 10 years

Good part if you are on a budget.
Came with every hole properly tapped , I dont know if I got lucky or the manufacturer corrected due to previous complaints.Casting is well made and machined , however the plastic arms where the vacuum membrane rods are connecting to , are much weaker than the oem pierburg manifold. After installation car idles and runs fine, free of error codes. My conclusion is , this part is a good option if you want to save money . I will update this review in a few thousand miles.

Aftermarket probably better than OEM Mercedes
The OEM Mercedes manifold is junk, so the aftermarket will probably end up being higher quality. At least the linkage is aluminum instead of plastic. The price is certainly right. Once upon a time OEM Mercedes was about as good as it got. This is for a 2006 C280, and there were lots of short cuts compared to the old ones.

Decent quality for the price
If your car is more than 10 years old and dreaded p2004 or p2006 code has come up. This is a great alternative to saving yourself some money on a depreciating asset. Typically OE quality intake manifolds run 600 to 1000 not including labor.Quality is decent for the price. Installed within 2-3 hours of work.Performs the same as OE intake manifold did with not codes after the test drive.

Bad Product
I purchased this Intake Manifold on January 15, 2023 for a 2008 Mercedes-Benz E350. In June of 2023 the car stop working and I parked it in my driveway. At that time I did not have the funds to send the car to a dealership to find out what was wrong. I now have the available funds so I sent it to the dealership. They did a Smoke Test and here is what they found:(Performed leak test of the intake system, after perform intake leak test found that after market intake manifold was leaking from the front as well as the rear at the brake booster hose connection.)I went to the manufacture's website and sent them a message explaining that this item fail while it was still under warranty and I would like a replacement or a refund. The manufacture never responded. I then went back to the Amazon website and attempted to contact the manufacture through Amazon, but got back the following message: (Since Amazon is handling the customer service for this order, you'll need to talk with an Amazon Customer Service Associate.)I contacted Amazon and explained that I understand the item is out of warranty but the item fail in June of 2023 while it was still under warranty.Amazon said there is nothing they can do.I would recommend that you do not purchase anything from this manufacture. This product is faulty and they do not respond to you when contacting them through their website and Amazon was absolutely no help!
