Great hat, especially for small head
This hat fits me well, and it can be difficult for me to find hats that fit my small head. The fabric is light but blocks sun. It is stylish. Very nice hat.

Just what I ordered
Better than what I ordered, perfect fit and the delivery was fast.

Well made hat but not for small faces.
Was a very nice hat. Not a good sign when your husband bursts into laughter at the sight of you in the hat. I said “ what? Does this look stupid?” And he said just stupid enough.Too big for my small face.

Sizing is off
In the last month or so, I've bought this same hat 3 times in 3 different colors all in size S/M. The first was from REI in a purple color and it fit perfectly but I didn't love the color. Next, I bought the new taupe green on Amazon and it also fit perfectly. I then bought the asphalt grey in a S/M and its too small - like it would give me a headache if I wore it too long. I don't know if this was an anomaly or if the asphalt grey is made differently. I'm tempted to order it again in both a S/M and the L/XL, but its really not worth my time. The color is nice though and had it fit I probably would have kept it.I do have another North Face hat that I had to buy in a L/XL because the S/M was too small, so I assumed that different hats had different sizing (since my original purple S/M in this hat fit great), but one would think the same hat should have consistent sizing. When you pay this kind of money for a hat, you should have consistency. Good luck in your purchase!

Asphalt grey runs small
I have the green in S/M from REI. Fits perfect. I ordered Asphalt grey from Amazon in S/M and it is much smaller. Too tight and will give me a headache.

I bought this to a friend as a gift
I gave this to a friend as a gift. She likes it but i do not know if this will fit my head as it is quite small in my opinions.

Lightweight, good quality and not too floppy
Perfect hat for hiking, worth the price. Folds easily but maintains shape with moderate breeze
