Hello. The buckles are attached to a strip of elastic. If your dog in on the thinner side, the elastic will keep the coat snug against their body.

Q: Does jacket have a hole for leash??

The hole is in the top of the jacket. It may work best with a harness, but my pet's leash fits above the top of the collar.

Q: What's a good size for my male yorkie?

We have a Cavapoo; 14 pounds with log poodle legs. I bought the Medium. It fits her well except the legs are too short - those long poodle legs. :( The size is as expected. Measure your pup and go with the closest match. My quess: a big Yorkie, a S. A small Yorkie, an XS. Good luck! We also got booties because of the snow collecting in Zoe's paws.
