Probably Could Shave With This
Just received this and I'm already in love. Both blades are almost scary sharp, there are no gaps in the liners, the bone has a great texture in hand. My only complaint would be how much the razor sticks out when closed, leading to it being a bit wide in the pocket. However, that doesn't take any points away as the knife is amazing quality for the price and would even be worth four times what I paid, which is approximately the cost of a Case Trapper with bone scales. Steel is great but obviously not a super steel like the D2 Queen uses. Given that a Queen will set you back about $75 and this was $13, I can overlook that fact. All in all, great way to test the waters on a pattern before committing to paying big bucks.

Great knives
These knives are Awesome, they hold right up to case knives 1/10th the price!

Great knife!
The one hand opening feature is great. This knife has become my EDC knife. Super sharp and the razor blade is far more useful than I expected. I have more expensive knives that I never carry for fear of loss or damage. This one I’m buying more for spares and gifts.

I'm very impressed, will make a nice "carry" knife
I never thought I would find myself leaving a review for an imported knife, but here I am. I have a modest collection of US made knives, and have had it drilled into me from a young age that "Chinese knives are junk". However, I am a serial nail biter, and am always looking for traditional style knives that will open easily without a nail nick. This has left me mostly with easy open folders and Case Russlocks. However, I have recently been fascinated by the "one arm razor" style knives, and have picked up some nice Case and Queen one arm knives, nice enough that I don't want to carry them.I found this Rough Ryder knife, and being a fan of the trapper patter, I was intrigued, not only by the pattern, but by the reviews. For $16, I decided to give it a shot. I got the knife today, and I'm very impressed. Don't get me wrong, fit and finish isn't perfect, there is some gapping and uneven staining on the bone, but for a $16 knife, I don't expect perfection. The action is flawless, and both blades are crazy sharp. I plan on adding this into my carry rotation, and am more than pleased. I have one of the "Rough Ryder Reserve Easy Open Razors" on order, and if it exceeds this knife in quality, which it is supposed to, my long held beliefs about Chinese knives might be shifting...
