Top Collection Dancing Ganesh on Lotus Pedestal Statue- Lord of Success Sculpture in Cold Cast Bronze - 8-Inch Elephant Figurine

Given the attractive appearance in the photo, I expected much from this Ganesh, and like the deity that he is, those those expectations are exceeded. As a scribe, I couldn't have dreamed a better Ganesh to sit on my desk for inspiration. In his right hand, he is making a protective mudra (sign) and in his other right hand holding a prod (to spur us on, of course). He holds a lotus in his trunk (signifying love). In his left hand he is holding a scroll (signifying his powers as a scribe) and is making another mudra, which I have been unable to identify. According to my research, the dance is an energetic defense - I hope against procrastination, grammatical errors, and misspelled words.And the face on this Ganesh is expressive. I swear he's looking at me, imploring me to better marshal my words!The motion is captured wonderfully. I fully expect to peek in the office one night to see Ganesh whirling away.

Fine design and beautifully finished.... Eyes and finger finishes are sharp. Very happy with the Ganesha Idol.... Little expensive but worth money as the idol is really appealing to the eye....

This is a beautiful RESIN statue. I agree with all the comments on how nice this statue looks and the detail is amazing. I think the craftsmanship is nice, but I feel that the description is deceptive. The statue is promoted as "cast bronze" but in reality, the statue is made of resin.This is a very nice resin statue, just not what I wanted.

The statue is well defined and detailed, however there is almost no color at all on the item I received. The green and blue seen in the photos are not present at all on the piece I received. According to the seller, the colors are "subtle." If you are looking for something with more color, keep looking. If you are happy with a detailed design that is mostly bronze with barely visible coloration on the pants, trunk ornament and flower, then order away. It is a nice piece.

bought this for my new house but unfortunately, in the moving process i packed it amongst some towels etc to protect it, it broke! i know they advertised this as a cast bronze product but its more that the outside material used is cast bronze (didn't realise thats what they meant). anyway, hopefully its nothing a littlee crazy glue won't fix. moral of the story: a lovely well detailed piece of ganesh but be careful with it or you'll end up with a ganesha puzzle!

I have this in my office. It is displayed alongside a seated Ganesh made by the same company. It is a beautiful piece and I enjoy its beauty every day. I receive a lot of compliments on both pieces. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought this to give as a gift to my husband who is Hindu. I have been looking for a larger size Ganesh for quite a while. This one is beautifully designed. I much prefer its subtle colors to the garish colors on most religious statues from India. The fine details are very nice. What attracted me most was the suggestion of movement--artfully done! However, this is not solid bronze. It is not heavy enough. It is resin, perhaps with bronze powder mixed in for color. Very pricy for an 8 inch tall mass produced figurine. Expensive for resin.
