I bought this to drain my inground swimming pool in the winter. With all the rain we’ve had it’s proved a very good investment. It’s easy to use and does the job perfectly.

Good bit of kit from a trusted brand. I use it to pump water in/out my swimming pool via the propane heating system. Its a robust bit of kit and shifts a fair volume of water very quickly.

Easy to install and first use removed water from water tank effectively. Would suggest buying 20m flat hose to give more reach for watering garden or reaching drainage point.

Just make sure there are no kinks in the hose (it needs to be virtually a straight line)

Nothing to dislike about the pump but the hose that came with it was a flat pack which was totally unsuitable for the pump location so I had to purchase a new length of hose as well. But still, a very good price for what I wanted to do.

Draining bottom of garden

The drain plug from our hot tub empties the tub in hours, this pump empties it in about 30 minutes. So I am happy. Wish it would do the last 5cm but alas no. So, some scooping is still involved.

Bought this to empty my pond for cleaning out and to use as a back up to oxygenate it ,leaving it in and on a timer. easy to set up and use .the supplied pipe only works if you keep it straight, so swopped it .If the pipe is too stiff it dose not stand up right unless pipe is weighted down. The pump clogged up a couple of times clean it up and flushed it with clean water, so 20-30 mm dirt did not work out for me ,its only a pond with duck weed, nothing big .( Apart from the 20" koi in the dust bins waiting ,it took to long and did not help ) It pumped down to about 3 inchers them stopped, blowing air bubbles and cavitating . Water was also spirting out of the joint. Sent it back as I would not leave it in the pond if there was a risk of it shorting out killing my fish
