3 Pack Hydrotools Skimmer Door Flap Weir

This is another replacement to replace a part I got from Leslie's. The hinge pin broke on the original weir flap. Once again, leslie's sold me one that didn't quite fit even though it was supposedly the right door. It was constantly stickng open and the pump would run dry for hours until I got home from work! This purchase is also original equipment and an exact fit!I read the reviews before I bought it. In the last month, the foam has not come loose. About the cheap plastic...let's face it folks, nothing is built to last anymore and quality is not what it was 20 years ago. I got the 3 pack so that I don't have to go searching for parts again. Though the first one broke because of kids horsing around.

It fit and is nice quality

The name of the skimmer door was easy to connect to the replacement I ordered. I was very confident that I only had to wait for it to arrive to complete the fix for my problem. It was here quick to I was happy with the whole process!

It fit into the opening without issue. Only reason I gave it three stars is that after a couple months of use, the foam piece that keeps the door upright has shrunk. So now the tabs meant to hold it in place don't hold it, and the foam piece comes out. I had to use some zip ties to now hold it in place.

The price is right on these!! This part is hard to find at the local pool stores and when you do it is way overpriced. I was very happy to find these here and they work perfectly. Would recommend these to anyone searching for this part.
