I opened this package and immediately got pissed and fully expected to write a bad review for it. It really looks and smells like just a cup of apple cider vinegar. Upon using this product though, I’ve done a 180°.I have always had MASSIVE issues with fruit flies. I’ve tried every DIY remedy on the internet and countless stinky traps. Nothing ever works. At the time I bought these STEM traps, I easily had at least a thousand fruit flies despite taking my trash out daily, throwing out all my produce, not leaving dishes in the sink, flushing my drain with boiling water, etc. I’d been trying for a month to get rid of them, and the problem was only getting worse. Within a day of using these traps, there was a big difference. All of the flies were gone in around three daysThe container visibly fills with flies fast, but regardless of how many it captures it doesn’t lose any efficacy. These traps also work for a long time to help provide continuous pest control. I believe they advertise working for around twenty-one days, but mine have been going for much longer than that, and are definitely still helping. Biggest pro for me is that this is one of the only products that actually works without posing a health risk. So many fly traps on the market are not safe for kids and pets, and actually require you be inside your own home for less than sixteen hours a day- not super plausible, especially on weekends. This is safe. Don’t put it in reach of your child or let, but it doesn’t omit toxic fumes like other products.I’m writing this review after placing another order for this product. I genuinely really like it, and having this in my home improved my quality of life. I’m so thankful I’m no longer swarmed with fruit flies every day.

I first bought this stuff last year. The fruit flies had gotten so bad and nothing was working other than this toxic product we had been using but I refused to use it last year. When we first got it my husband was very unimpressed. I was hopeful though. We bought 4 and I had 3 on my counter and 1 in the pantry. We didn't see immediate results which my husband was wanting. It actually took more than a week but I think it's because we had gone so long trying homemade remedies that the flies were just that bad. We finally noticed the flies gone and they stayed gone with the exception of one or two that would pop up. This year I bought 2 right away and almost immediately noticed a different. I can move my fruit basket and maybe one will fly instead of a swarm will fly up....my daughter left some strawberry cuttings on the table and there were no fruit flies trying to feast on it. So for me it works and I like that I can just leave it on the counter next to my fruit basket and not have to worry about toxic chemicals. Last year I bought the spray which helped with the house flies. But we aren't having an issue with those this year thankfully. I would definitely recommend this product. So far I just have the two next to my sink and fruit basket and the fruit flies are virtually gone.

Basically, this product is vinegar and didn't catch a single fruit fly. Instead I used Scentry Biologicals Methy Eugenol plugs 10 grams, and Yourdada sticky traps, and I'm catching and killing fruit flies very successfully.see photos: you'll see that the Stem product caught a very few little bugs, not 1 fruit fly. But the Scentry ME plugs and Yourdada sticky traps work great together. This method will greatly decrease the fruit fly population that distroyed 3/4 of my mangoes in Maui HI.

I had a random infestation of fruit flies due to some forgotten oranges in a lunch bag. It had never happened before. By the time it was discovered and disposed of they were everywhere. I bought this in a pinch never having tried it before after going to my local stores to find empty shelves for something that could kill but wouldn't be toxic. It started working immediately!!!!!!!! They were all gone within a few days. I know have one on had just in case and I can't recommend it enough. Only downside is the strong apple cider vinegar scent that takes over while the container is open but it goes away quickly once you toss it out.***note the solution does evaporate a little daily so if you had to have it out for a longer period of time best to buy a few to replace rather than open several at the same time.

It worked ok. I set it up in my kitchen by where I had frequently seen a few fruit flies. I expected this to help take care of the problem as I was also taking measures to make sure it didn’t become a big infestation. After a week of having it there was literally nothing in it except dust particles. The smell is pretty strong even a month after having it open and the liquid seems to be evaporating slowly. I can count exactly ten fruit flies in it right now. Somewhat worked but not as good as wondercide.
