Portable and convenient charging.
I needed a small portable electric sharpened for my travel case, this one is nice and compact and has a nice feature of including a built in battery as well as accepting regular batteries, i like the option of having both in case of need.So far sharpens quickly and not as noisy as a larger one i have on my desk for the same amount of sharpening time.

Great size but under powered.
Great size. Sharpens to very fine point. When running on battery, (new batteries) sounds like it is going to die.
