You will be spending nearly $1000 for guaranteed water damage ...
You will be spending nearly $1000 for guaranteed water damage. The faucet falls apart within a short period of time. There's no pride in product with this item. The spray feature results in leakage and then water damage. Buyer seriously beware!Key points:1. Terribly overpriced.2. The Warranty is a complete fraud (and there should be legal implications). The company will absolutely 100% not stand by the product. Just read the reviews.3. The product (based on the reviews) is known to be defective.4. The product will cause massive water damage to your home.UPDATE: Be very cautious with any KWC products. They will NOT honor any warranty. Here's the message I got back for the purchase I made:I am sorry, Faucet Town USA is not an authorized KWC dealer. For more information about authorized dealers please click on the link below.[...]You might try contacting FaucetTownUSA. They may have ordered through an authorized dealer that can get you the replacement part you need.---I really, really wish these reviews were here when I spent so much money on this extremely low quality product. The company also operates with little honor.UPDATE: Ended up spending nearly the same amount to fix the faucet as I did to originally purchase it. This faucet is inherently defective and the warranty WILL NOT BE HONORED so you are not paying for that either. In an email correspondence between FaucetTownUSA and KWC, KWC disputed the fact that FaucetTownUSA was a certified dealer. FaucetTownUSA, of course, said they were. KWC does not really care to honor the warranty at all. It's actually a fine print sham.

Lasted 20 years but "lifetime warranty" not being honored
I bought this faucet in 2001 (not from Amazon) in large part for the lifetime warranty. After 20 years of uninterrupted use it has failed. I contacted KWC America and got a response from their US representative telling me that certain parts are warrantied for less than the lifetime. The cartridge needs replacing. The part is $108 from them or $70 elsewhere (not including shipping. It is a do-it-yourself project which could involve a plumber ($$$) or $15 for special tools. So much for "lifetime warranties"...

Finish chips; warranty not honored, leaks when on spray
I had one of these with an enamel finish. After a few years the finish was badly chipped. I called KWC about the lifetime warranty and they told me it didn't apply to the finish. I liked the way the faucet looks so I dumbly bought another, with a non-enamel finish. After a few years it began to leak badly whenever I turned it from stream to spray (see photo). (I've read other reviews reporting the same problem.) The only fix I know of is to buy a new spray arm for up to about $200 depending on the finish. So now I don't use spray, or point the spray head down so the water doesn't run down the arm. Annoying.

Trouble free for 10 years now with soft water
I had 2 put in when we remodeled our kitchen in late 2005 - nickel silver.... a 9" for the main double sink and the shorter one (7" ?) for the bar sink. Both have been trouble free for the 10 years since. I did have the plumber drill out the restrictors so the flow is not an issue.... in fact it makes it a bit touchy to get low flow and I'm not sure I'd do it again. I argued with my wife of pull out spray vs separate spray and won, but would have to say she was right - a separate spray is easier for controlling on/off and flow volume. They are pricey, but I have no issues with the quality. I have not had to replace the cartridges, but I have a good water softener and it makes scaling a non-problem in my faucets, dishwasher, showers, and jetted tub. I do open houses for fun and around me EVERY faucet is a problem if the water is hard so I don't think KWC is any worse but I haven't changed one out so I can't comment on how hard they are to work with.

Warranty and repair really bad
Beware - I had a problem with the faucet and was told by customer service that the cartridge is not warranted (unlike most other manufacturers). A new cartridge is currently around $70 (about 10% of the cost of the faucet). I was also told the faucet's cartridge only lasts for about 10 years before needing to be replaced. Unfortunately, replacing the cartridge is almost impossible as the nut holding down the cartridge is designed such that it will become frozen after some time. I have not had this kind of issue before with other brands like Grohe. I would never buy another KWC ever again as there are other better choices.

Don't buy kwc
The faucet locked up after 5 years and wouldn't swivel. They sent me a bag of parts instead of a replacement. why would you spend money for a faucet that won't last that long and they will not warranty it.
