Many showerheads are advertised as high pressure and then you read the "small print" to learn they recommend the installer remove the flow restrictor for higher pressure. Doing so increases the gpm (gallons per minute) water flow and thus creates a higher pressure shower. The highest federally mandated gpm is 2.5, and in some states it's lower. This corresponds to plumbing codes and water conservation efforts. In the past, we did have 12" rain showerheads with no water restrictor in our two bathrooms. Since we moved, we only replaced one of our two showerheads with the rain head (the 2nd one broke). I'd been using the contractor grade head in the other shower. I recently took a shower in the bathroom with the rain head and finally woke up - it DUMPS so much water that you're standing in it. It's overwhelming. And it's irresponsible and expensive to use that much water. So, I decided to look for a high quality 2.5 gpm head to replace the contractor head, and landed on this one. I wondered how the pressure would be, and I also assumed I'd determine my favorite setting and just leave it there. Wow, I am surprised and impressed. The pressure from this head, you'd never know it's restricted. It's strong and provides great coverage. And the massage setting is amazing, feels great on my neck. I'm now trying to convince my partner to let me replace the rain head in his shower. He's coming around. Do the right thing and get a regulated showerhead. This one, I highly recommend. Update: My partner finally tied the showerhead and asked me to order another :)

This has good flow for people who need more. Uses more water than what you find in big box stores, but less than 2.5 gal per minute, so it’s legal.

Works well. Many of these shower heads, including one that was very highly rated and advertised as "high pressure" that I returned, have water flow restrictors in them. After I immediately returned it and posted a review, the seller contacted me and explained that they had to have the restrictor included due to state laws. But they still advertised "high pressure." Anyway, 1.8 gallons per minute is the most likely rating that leads to low pressure. Some of them make it clear that they have that rating while it appears that many do not. This one is clearly rated at 2.5 gal/minute and that seems to make the difference.

We are having water pressure issues and so I purchased this solely to see if it would help us get a better water pressure but it does notIt looks great, it's actually a really great quality and the it's easy to switch flows but it did not solve our decreased water pressure issue

I took a low flow head off and placed this bad boy on there. What a difference it made. Strong water output and flow. Easy to replace and good price.

Works great. Performance is just as good as higher priced items out there.

Used this to replace the more expensive, but lower water flow shower head that came with my apartment. This thing is perfect, especially for its cost. I feel way more water pressure with this shower head and can rinse shampoo out a lot more easily.

I love it
