I absolutely LOVE how my throw turned out using this yarn. I purchased the Fruity Stripe yarn and the colorway was much prettier than I expected!! It is to me Beautiful! The yarn was a great weight and crocheted up nicely. It stripped up almost perfectly as you can see in the photos. When changing skeins I had to trim off a few inches to get to the right colors to continue in the right color but was able to use it later when going to another skein. It all really worked out well! I am sooo very pleased with the throw and how nicely this yarn worked out. At this point I WILL purchase more of this yarn in this same colorway as I have big plans for more things to crochet with this yarn.I have used Red Heart Yarn for many many years and as far as their stripped Yarn goes this has absolutely been the best of all of them. I have found that their stripped or ombre yarns have had sooo many knots in them not ever carrying on the right color when tied to the next length. I'm using another one of the stripped yarns and I have found 8 knots in just 1 skein!! That's absolutely ridiculous!! It happens but it shouldn't EVER be that bad!! 😕 how disappointing having to basically throw away over half a skein to make my item look right. When you work so hard and long on a project you don't want it to look like an amateur made it, especially when it's something you're making for someone as a gift.

I love Red Heart yarn, especially for things that have contact with your skin. It comes in a great variety of colors - both solid and variegated - and Amazon has a great selection to choose from. I usually buy the 7 oz. or larger skeins as you get more for your money and I can always find ways to use any leftover pieces. This yarn works up very easily, can be machine washed when needed and is very soft to the touch. It's reasonably priced and usually arrives within a few days. It's so much easier to order from Amazon than to drive to the craft store, where I usually buy more than just yarn!Linneaann

My first time using this color yarn. I made a scarf and it turned out BEAUTIFUL!! the yarn isn't as soft as other yarns I've used but after I washed the scarf (using fabric softener) it was very soft. I will be buying this yarn again! So Pretty!

I bought this yarn to add the multicolored greens to my Minecraft blanket pattern and it's perfect I'm sure it can be used for a million other things but the greens worked up so beautiful on a Minecraft related blanket The yarn was good it's a good deal It was shipped fast I had no problems with this yarn when I bought it I would buy it again It is perfect for what I was doing and it's a decent yarn

I love the colors in this yarn. I made this hat with it. It was Christmas gift for my bff. The yarn is not the softest but I paired it with a very soft yarn so it worked out ok. I am sure once it’s washed once it will soften up. But these colors are amazing and my favorite.

I can't say enough good things about this yarn: good weight, easy to work with, bright colors, color fast, no shedding, and a good price. I've been using it for decades. And now my daughter is using it.

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted to upcycle a mirror, and I had the idea to maybe wrap it in tied yarn like I used to cover hangers with when I was a kid. I usually go for dark jewel tones in blues and greens, so I wanted to break from the norm with this. I think these colors were PERFECT!PROS: Nice bright colors with a good amount of ombre from one color to the next. Huge amount of yarn in each skein. Also--3 skeins in a pack. I had no idea how much yarn I would need, so this made sure I did not run out (turned out I needed about 1.5 skeins if you are wondering) The yarn was good quality. I did a lot of tugging on it to tighten each knot but there was no risk of the threads fraying out with the stress I was putting it through.CONS: The colors have a LONG TIME for each color. It is ONLY a CON if you are working on a small project and wanted to get through all of the colors in the one small project. As I was working I realized I would not get the even number of color hits that I wanted, so I would wind some of the excess of each color into a ball and leave it off to the side so I could make the color changes happen faster in some areas. So while it was a tiny bit of a con for me, if you were using this for a blanket or something this will not affect you.All around A+ and I would order again.
