YETI Boomer 8 Stainless Steel, Non-Slip Dog Bowl, Holds 64 Ounces, Black Duracoat

I wish id recognised the importance of water been kept crisp and cold for my pups earlier . Only after reading the reviews on Yeti did I appreciate the dynamics of this functional water bowl . An absolute must ! Really delivers!

I only had this bowl a few months when a spot appeared on the bottom. It was rust. I contacted the company but am told that this is considered normal wear and tear. I was told to use baking soda to wash it. It did work as the rust was very superficial. But now at a year of age there is a rust spot that won’t clean off. It is almost as if there is a top layer sealing the bowl and it wears off in spots leaving it prone to rust. Apparently the bowl is not made to withstand putting water in the bowl everyday and/or washing it (even by hand) on a daily basis (according to the company). Not sure what it is meant to withstand. At this price a few months to one year is not acceptable. I’ve used cheap stainless bowls that have lasted five plus years before rusting. I like the shape and weight of this bowl. I like that it doesn’t slide around. But I would not recommend actually buying it unless you want it more for looks and not to actually put water in.

So.... I was a little concerned purchasing this as the bowl looked small and my dog is quite large (large husky)... if that is your concern, don't be worried. This is the perfect sized bowl and held more than I thought. The water stays really cool and I have noticed my dog definitely drinks more now.Easy to clean, looks great. Very happy with this purchase and the dog seems to like it....

I purchased this bowl in December and I have rust spots developing inside the bowl, I wash it out each time I fill the bowl, I didn’t think it would rust being stainless steel. Not impressed with this purchase.

Within a week of use, my dog was able to inflict deep gouges on the exterior of this bowl. Definitely not worth the price, I would have rather bought two similar bowls from a different brand than one of these.Definitely disappointed in the Yeti brand, the name is all you pay for, apparently.
