Vango Trek Pro 3 Standard Mat Tango Red

Excellent product all round. Just tested during 4 days camping on challenging ground. Comfortable and I slept well I have bought other ultra light weight ones but they are very easily punctured and almost impossible to repair

I brought this on my DofE gold expedition. My expedition was very wet the entire time and the floors of our tents was not waterproof. This is the only reason why I stayed dry overnight. This is due to me being off the ground with an air gap --> the top of the mat was dry. It pumps up to a reasonable size and also packs away reasonably small for this price point. My only problem is with the valve. It is not self-inflating so you have to blow in it, but the valve is not one-way when it is open. Therefore you have to close the valve everytime you want to take a breath in.

This mat was a revelation to me. Having only relied upon inflatable air mats or foam roll mats this combines the best of both. Never have I had such good nights sleep when camping.

Nice colour, comfort ok, size prefer compact/smaller size, air value feels cheap, good heat retention performance is better then the old foam rolls

Faulty product will not inflate so my son is sleeping on the cold hard ground for his DofE. Experienced instructors couldn’t get it to work. I am really unhappy about this.
