Good mechanical pencil with thick lead that is suitable for use in shop environment. The leads are fairly soft, they mark pretty well but the get used up at a rate similar to a grease pencil. You will find yourself buying a bunch of replacement lead refills, but overall you will like the pencil.

I really like the mechanical pencil style and but having to sharpen with a knife. Easier to get an accurate mark over a carpenters pencil. The only issue I have is that the graphite is very soft, which means you are constantly sharpening to keep a point. If the graphite was a little harder I would have given 5 stars
