I've paired this with a Noctua NF-A12x15 FLX premium-quality quiet slim 120mm fan in a StarTech.com 6U 19-Inch Wall Mount Server Rack Cabinet with Acrylic Door RK619WALL (Black) to reduce the space and noise of the original fan unit. Went in well, just ensure you retain and use the original fan covers from the rack. Now have access to all 6 19" rack spaces.

I like the kit and it works well but I found out the power it gives off is too much for my little one fan for my desktop so make sure you have a bigger fan that needs this.

I needed to power a set of Noctura Fans in a server cabinet and this is exactly what you need to do that. The attachments are great and let you plug and play any fan at a single speed. That opens up lots of uses for computer fans which are powerful and can be silent. I ended up soldering the wires directly to the 12v adaptor cord which went well, very nice one stop solution.

This lil adapter is lovely for those not wanting to splice an old power adapter for PC case fans. I am using it to power 2 140mm fans to cool my ASUS router. No more drops since installing the fans. My only grip is no way to adjust the power so fans run at full speed but I knew this going in

Need to check your work!!
As you can see from my attached photo. The cable I received is not as shown on the product photo. Red and Black cable is reversed and that damaged my fan.
