Q: ? What are the dimensions

the bench is 48 inches long, 17 inches high, and 14 inches deep

Q: There are two different lengths listed here...if the bench 47 1/2 or 42?

I bought two sets of four (same item number both times) about a month apart. The first set is 48' long, and the second is 47 1/2" long. I'd guess that 47.5" would most likely be the correct measurement. Good luck!

Q: What is the difference between this bench and the shaker bench?

The shaker bench has an oak finish and the bloomington Bench is cherry finish with black legs. The cherry bench is 48 inches long and the shaker bench is 44. They are both made by the same company so I'm sure the quality is the same.

Q: How much does this bench weigh? One person said it weighs 50 lbs but shipping weight is 36 lbs. Would I be able to move it easily?

I don't know exact weight, but, yes, it is easily moved. I keep mine against a wall and move it to the table as needed for extra seating. Very nice, solid bench. I've had many compliments on it.
