Hakubaku Organic Somen, Authentic Japanese Wheat Noodles, No Salt Added, 9.5-Ounce Packages (Pack of 8)

The only no salt noodle I can find for my baby. It’s tasty, soft and easy cook. Even after over cooked, it won’t be sticky. I chose it for my old son and now for my little girl. Both of them love it and me.

Excellent and not loaded with sodium like many competitors noodles.

I am beginning to understand the Japanese obsession with noodles! These are delicious and easy to adopt! I followed the preparation instructions and got perfect results. The flavor of the plain noodle was good, substantive texture, and an extremely fine noodle . . . handle carefully. These mixed nicely with vegetables and tsuyu sauce, or a dash of soy sauce. I also got the soba noodles and am enjoying them as well. This brand of organic noodle is very good and a premium treat.

My local Asian market stopped selling these organic noodles for some reason and the other brands they sell are loaded with salt - between 450 and 750 mg per serving! These somen noodles (and the other types of Hakubaku organic noodles) have no salt added. To me this isn't just a health issue, but gives better taste.In the regular supermarket these noodles sell for almost $5 per pack, so the price here of $24/eight packs is very good. I recommend all the Hakubaku noodles, as the taste and quality are much better than the other brands I have tried.

Bought this for my babies, since it has no salt.But received the product on 02.09, with expiration date 04.01.I am not comfortable feeding it to my babies with so close to the expiration date.

These are great noodles and quick to cook

We love these noodles, and understand how inflation is affecting everyone. But this jump hurts. My last order was $24/box. Now it’s $32. Sadly, we have been priced out of the market and will need to find something less expensive.
