Q: Will this work with tennis shoes?

they will definitely fit on sneakers , however i dont know about taking your tennis shoes into icey snow packed paths' tho

I would say to go with the smallest size to fit the biggest shoe you plan on wearing with these. If you go too big it may not fit correctly and slide as you walk and it becomes VERY uncomfortable.

They should. I have found them to be very good on solid ice but I'm sure they would work well on packed snow as well. I use them in the White Mountains and have rally good luck with them.
