Was able to attach to an old implement for gardening
The handle broke of an antique garden tool. I was able to rescue it by giving new life by the way of attaching the new handle so should last for many years to come.

Good strong handle
I ordered this handle to fit an Asian-style flat cleaning shovel (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CVXPVJ1X). I chose this one because it's longer than the alternatives that are the right size for the shovel, and as I'm 5'7", I didn't want to end up with back ache from bending awkwardly. I would still prefer a little longer, but this one works fine. I hammered it on the ground a few times to ensure it was wedged well into the shovel head piece, and then rubbed the wood handle with wood cream to preserve it and protect against wet. Really happy with this and would buy again.

Solid handle
This replacement wooden handle is shaped at the end, however this does not fit the tool it was bought for so will need some adjustments. There is also only one screw hole to fix it in place - two may have been better. Haven’t used it yet, but seems solidly made.
