I bought two of these glass floor protectors. They look great and work great.

i was pretty nervous about sitting on my office chair on the glass mat, but everything seems to be fine. it is a smooth glide. i could get away with a small size easily. there does not seem to be a way that this could harm my laminate floor under it, when my plastic mat let 'roller marks' on the flooring. don't think i can get rid of them, but you can only see them when the light hits that area & you are looking for it. i believe this will be 'problem solved'!

I'm using this in lieu of a front door rug during the rainy season (easier to clean off stick seed pods) and it's held up to bouncing animals, people, and the odd dropped bag of groceries. It's heavy, but it will slide a bit, so i put down a couple sticky gel dots and it's fine. I really like it. I can see the wood floor for a cleaner line, it's easy to clean--also used it as marker-able reminder list before I leave the house. Great purchase!

Was amazing while it lasted, using it on top of my carpet for gaming, pretty much used every day. My gaming chair caused a rip/hole to form in the carpet, not sure if that was the cause of the break because of the uneven surface + weight of the chair+me. Was difficult to keep the chair mat from sliding forward which possibly caused the uneven distribution of weight. When it broke, it shattered into a bunch of small triangular pieces. If there was some way to keep this mat from sliding on the carpet, it may have not shattered. Going to purchase a plastic one next time because cleanup was a pain. I recommend trying this product out, however, just be aware of the shortcomings. The packaging it came in was also pretty solid.

This tempered glass chair mat appears very sturdy and thick. This tempered glass chair mat is aesthetically pleasing; it matches my tempered glass desk and monitor stand. The 46x46 size works perfectly for my home office set up. I purchased to protect my carpet, which is beginning to show signs of wear from a chair and standing desk.

I bought this for my home office. I wish I would have gotten one size larger. I was leery about having a plate of glass on the floor under my weight and the chair, but it has been fantastic as far as being able to roll the chair across the carpet. When I remove it, it does not leave an imprint on the carpet like the casters do. It does slide around as you use it, so I have to reposition it about once a week. But this is still better than trying to roll across plush carpet.

We just got new carpets so I wanted new desk pads, I like it so far. There were some bigger ones but I decided to go with a smaller one first to see if I liked it before I spent the money on larger ones. We have a large house with desks in 5 different bedrooms so I will order a larger one and use this one in one of the rooms we don't use as much.

I recently moved and my new office has very plush carpet, where before I was on hardwood. It arrived in four days, packaged well and in perfect condition. I've had it a few days now and I love it. I probably should have ordered a bigger one since I tend to roll a lot, so I tend to roll off the side at times. Other than that, it's sturdy and looks great. For the price I was seeing others listed at, this is a great deal imo. I recommend this product.
