Not Flat Ends
The caps fit schedule 40 PVC perfectly.They are good looking and strong.They are not flat but slightly rounded on the end, so they will not sit squarely on the floor or against a wall.

Great Price
This is not a common item / size in my local big box hardware store. The price for 2 is good and it is quality product from known manufacturer. If you need 3" PVC Cap, I'd recommend this.

Used these caps to cover service pipes from our old wood boiler. Fit and look great.

Perfect
Arrived on time ("before 10pm"), packaged well, the driver was hot (no pics, sorry!) and also quite well packaged...Building a 6" × 10', PVC, Schedule 40, ~15gal, water tank to have water for my Aussie, my van & me on our many adventures (mainly to rinse off & clean up [potable water in AquaTatner & Sceptre]).Was able to easily drill a 9mm hole and tap a 10mm × 1.0 threaded hole for the Schrader valve (to pressurize the tank a bit).The hose bib was a bit scarier - 23/32 hole & a ½" NPT tap are a LOT bigger than ½", and were a bit unweildy, but the PVC cap was easy to work with, so it turned out fine!SIDE NOTE: simultaneously bought an NDS brand PVC "cap" for half the price of this one & it was a fail - VERY thin and exactly 6" outer diameter... Now how is THAT a "cap"!?!Save your money & just get the good, thick, durable product that fits & gets the job done right!Time & gas to return it now...Keep up the great work guys & next time I'll post more pics ; ).
