TaoHorse Omnidirectional Barcode Scanner Desktop High Speed 1D Laser Bar Code Reader with Hands Free Adjustable Stand and USB Cable for Supermarket Stores POS

I bought this scanner to use in an elementary school library. I wanted to teach the students to check out their own library books. The biggest problem I have had is getting the students to hold the books up to the scanner properly. But it is still better that having them use the “gun” type scanner. I also have one batch of code printing that this scanner cannot read. So I have been scanning all the books and reprinting codes. Probably not the scanner's fault but it has added to my workload. The students are getting used to this scanner mostly because you need to use it consistantly to figure out where to hold the barcode. I really thoight with the multiple lines of reading that it would be much easier to hold up the code and scan.

I bought a Taohorse scanner from Amazon in 2018, but it's been almost a year since the device stopped working, I don't know what happened, please I need help. Tell me how to restart or reinstall the device. I think the reset button is stuck, but sometimes I feel like it works.
