GastromaxCooking Tongs, 29 by 6 by 2cm, Black

This is my new favorite kitchen tool! I love gadgets, but it has to perform well to earn a place in my kitchen. My daughter had these and I looked all over and finally found them here! They are great for precision turning - from sausages & shrimp to veggies - they easily pick up and release just where you want it to. So much better than the regular sized large tongs. Get a pair...you'll use them a lot!!

If you own expensive non-stick cookware, you know you can't use metal implements or you risk your finish. Unfortunately, cooking bacon requires a way to turn the bacon. These tongs are the perfect solution. Nice and long so your hands are not at risk from grease splatters, it is easy to grasp whatever you are cooking with these. At this price point, I was amazed to find such a quality product.

I got a black one and a dark gray one. Dishwasher safe, temperature safe to 500° Fahrenheit. Lightweight. Good for picking up small things like toast, bacon, scallops, stir fry meat, etc. Too dainty and too narrow of a starting width for larger foodstuffs like grill meat.

It works okay with light foods like bacon, but not with anything too much heavier.

Great tongs and price.

Described as 'Tweezers'....They are not kidding. We thought these would be OK for the grill (turning bacon etc..)You have to hold them so tight your hand hurts. Its beyond bad. Just awful.Almost useless because they have no contact points with the food you are trying to pick up or turn over.. Tragic.I would love the seller to get back to me and tell me what (if anything) these were designed to do.When is someone going to design Kitchenalia that WORKS?

Our toasters never really pop the item up enough and it's awkward to get the bread or crumpet or whatever without burning your fingers or pulling a chunk out of the toasted item.I've seen people stick all sorts of things into toasters to get their stuff out but this slips right in there and grabs the food so you can take it out safely and easily.Used every time we use the toaster now. So easy.

I had a pair of these for years, so easy to use and ideal for many things the larger tongs are too bulky to handle.I lost them somehow and have spent the last 2 years trying to find another pair, bought many needle tongs but none were satisfactory. Suddenly came across these once more and am now a very happy bunny again

These are absolutely fantastic - I bought them for myself initially. They are lightweight, easy to use and robust. I then bought them for my mother who, like me, uses them daily. I've just gifted a pair to my son who has gone off to Uni - great for turning food items especially when you are doing a cooked breakfast. Also good for getting items out of the toaster. They go in the dishwasher too.

Was very happy to be able to find an exact replacement for some tongs I had had for years - but accidentally melted part of recently.
