DAB 60161182 E.SYBOX 230V Water Booster System

Needed to replace my cottage's shallow well jet pump w/pressure tank and took a chance on the DAB Sybox constant pressure pump. It has exceeded all my expectations in ease of installation and function. It provides constant pressure and adjusts to water demand exceptionally well. It is nearly silent in operation and is ideal for a crawl space or inside a house in a closet or cabinet.. It is easy to adjust the pressure and provides lots of statistics (psi, power usage, flow) that can be displayed on the LCD screen.Installation: Was easy using the provided 1" plastic unions to pipe into the plumbing. I used 1" pex and sharkbite fittings for foolproof installation. I purchased a 220v surge protector from amazon for added protection against power spikes.Operation: Set the pressure to 60psi and it kept it constant even with opening multiple faucets. Low flow operation (like RO system or leaking faucet) forces to pump to turn on and off if its not enough flow to keep the pump working on its lowest setting. I guess this the one draw back I can think of since it probably could add wear and tear on the motor.The manual says that sediment could muck up one of the flow sensors over time but it is easily cleaned using a tool that comes with the pump. I left some space between the pump inlet and the well hose incase I need to add a filter down the road depending on how often it needs to be cleaned.**1 YEAR LATER**No problems and has needed no maintenance. While there are now a few more similar products out there, this is still the market leader.**2 YEARS LATER**The pump hasn't needed any attention in the last 2 years and still running great. A couple times a year I'll spray Home Defense around it to keep insects from getting inside and possibly shorting it out. Fingers crossed for another year of no issues.**5 YEARS LATER**No issues. I haven't had to touch it once.

The product is incredible. Literally doubled the water pressure in my house.Seller was a crook though. Order elsewhere. Item came weeks after was promised. Returned it, then he made up stories to try to get out of refunding.Amazon being the greatest company ever, stepped in and gave me back the money he deducted. Ty Amazon !I purchased the unit from a different buyer and it showed up at my door the next day.
